Personally, I use a stretched res when playing, and some others still use blackbars ahaha Pretty sure I've seen you on topfrag before as well. That's the only server I usually play on lol

hey mate, bit confused. im deleting the old config then drag and dropping ur one in. i start up cs 1.6 and it goes back to defult settings. when i go back to see if the config is there, it is but its automattically made a new config as a CFG file and ur file is text document?
Make sure you save the file as .cfg and not .txt. Alternatively you can rename the file to dippy.cfg then when you get in game type exec dippy.cfg in console.
i have a problem where my bullets go above my crosshair every time. with all guns/pistols.. i dont know if its because of my game resolution or my monitor resolution(2715x1527) or maybe the ping server? but i doubt its server. or maybe its just i forgot how bad accuracy is 1.6? is threre any way of fixing that? i know bullets arent going to be going straight in middle of the crosshair but to go above it all the time. even when i stand still or duck they still go above it
The game wasn’t really made for those huge widescreen resolutions. The 1920x1080 with black bars on sides might be your best bet. Also you can try using the updated cs version and in video settings you can check “use widescreen fov”

You use fps_override 0 but I assume your monitor can actually display 100hz. I do wonder what the best setting is for a monitor whos max is 60 or 75 hz.
Hey can you help me i have one random problem from no where. My mouse just become so fking slow in the movement soon as I open up the game but in other games my mouse works just fine. I don't know what is fking wrong.

Just have to keep practicing the bhops. Make sure you are using my config/rates and practice strafing. When in the air turn mouse to the left and hold A and when you turn right hold D. Also remember you run faster with pistol/knife and even faster when holding a scout ❤️
Resolution is more a visual preference so I recommend just using whatever looks the best to you. Going over 100fps on the other hand messes up movement and jumping mechanics so I keep fps_override 0.
@@DippyCS1.6 yes im really torn in this and I still cannot make up my mind on what fps to run.. not only movement but recoil and how the recoil feels. it was a blessing and a curse and always have been in 1.6 haha
Better is subjective. You are right though that 800x600 probably makes spraying easier. Resolution really comes down to preference and I prefer the clarity that the widescreen resolution gives me.
