Important Update : It looks like I was configuring CS:GO the wrong way !! I was able to pull out great performance from the card and the I5 2430M . 130-140 FPS stable on Deathmatch and up to 180 FPS on competitive (drops to 100 on smoke) I was really surprised of the performance, first thing I did was removing this from the launch options : -nod3d9ex this command just made cs:go lags more than it was boosting the performance : Here are my launch options : -freq 60 -console -novid -high -threads 4 -lv -refresh 60 +cl_forcepreload 1 +exec autoexec.cfg Settings : Textures and Effects on High, Ambiant Off and shadows low MSA X8 and Multicore rendering On ! Res : 1024x768 > ( i've tested 1280x720 and it was about 20 - 30 FPS difference with High settings but you can get the same performance with MSA off ) Latest driver from NVIDIA website ! One more thing that i've done was parking my CPU ! My cpu was unparked and this was making the CPU heat even more so that caused FPS drops ! Just restore ur CPU to the normal performance (Unless you have a good cooler you can overclock and park your CPU) Settings on NVIDIA Panel : Will make a video soon :)

+cleo ong It's a default NVIDIA driver that I've found after formating my Computer, it belongs to 2012 I believe I don't know the exact version cuz i've changed my OS another time !! I'm taking a break from games, I have MEDIC exams after 1 month :p

+iSh8Sn0w I'm afraid you can't ! This card is so old and it won't run on 60 FPS you will have to invest some money to get a new laptop or gaming desktop if you want to play BO3 on high settings !

+friiXa TV I am gonna buy another computer for less money but it had geforce 640m and not 540. Just wanna run Bo3 zombies on Low/Medium do you think it would work alright with that graphic card? Asus K75V

I think you can get 50 FPS on lowest settings, on medium you can play at 30 FPS or so ! So yeah you can give it a try !

My gt 520m runs 1024x768 all low 75-100 fps in lobbies with people... Your card will overclock through MSI and it makes a huge difference. Also make sure your nviia profile is set to performance.

+james batacan Without overclocking I got a huge difference in performance !! I've downgraded my CARD and now it's performing great on CS:GO with an old driver ... IDK why but it's seems to be the case for me ! 60FPS now 1280x720 MEDIUM SETTINGS and drop sometimes on deathmatch to 40 FPS (So noticeable on a game like CS:GO)

Yes of course !! But if you turn up the settings you will get extremely low fps !! The I5 even if it's a dual core but the cpu is able to pull out great performance on low demanding games like cs:go even on bottled-up servers :)

+friiXa TV i play on everything highest settings, MSAA off , anti-filtering X16, 1366x768, V-sync off, and i always get 63-73 frames on same gpu and cpu. how is it that low for u?

you are supposed to get above 50 fps on everything high for sure ( i just kept shadows to medium)

I have same GPU and about 60-80 FPS on high graphics and 1600x900 resolution. (Notebook Asus N73S)

+friiXa TV ok , first thank you want to help me . So when I start it , the screen goes dark short , the CSGO.exe schlisst immediately and after that happened no longer . I have a Gt 540m and I5 processor Sorry for my bad english : D

add this line to CS:GO launch options -w 1024 -h 768 -processheap -novid -nojoy -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -threads 4 -nod3d9ex -noaafonts -cl_disablehtmlmotd 1 and delete geforce experience it justs add more lag you can update drivers manually

+friiXa TV CS:GO is a bit CPU hungry, you will need a strong CPU to run it !! I think you should be fine with 1024x768 Everything on Low it will pretty much be the same as my performance shown on the video 60 FPS drops to 40 on smoke or death match servers ! However I highly recommend downloading a free version to test then you can buy it after testing it :) .

seriously??? I have on 540m i5 2430m 70-150fps on medium 4x msaa 1366x768

+Luki Luki As you can see i will be doing another video, but 4x msaa with 150 FPs is a bit too high !! :D What driver version you're using ? and what CPU do you have on your PC ?
