I've seen faceit 10s knife a chicken when Ts did a mid/A aps push and he just just gets lazered and it's a suddenly a 5v3 retake. Just don't do it, it might tilt your entire team.
@@yungferdem7735 oh yea fr I swear if I looked it up the most common lead I've blown in Csgo at halftime has to be 11-4 hell I'd feel more secure at 9-6 or even 8-7 cause like you did a good half but you know there's work to do In second half
@@kurtpunchesthings2411 if it's old vertigo he's talking about, then it's a very real situation, as that map was extremely ct sided. Only winning one round as T could lead to 16-14.
Ive been getting spoon-fed nade tutorials and such, but informative videos like this are arguably more useful. Understanding the economy and basic strategy is REALLY important, and isnt discussed enough.
The time off rule is insane. Never been past silver 3 before and come back a couple weeks ago after not playing for months and get placed into silver 4. Now, 2 weeks later I'm gold nova 3 and still fragging
4:48 there are some walls that removing silencer is beneficial, keeps enemies from seeing silencer. Example is the close wall on Dust 2 B bombsite. I have seen pros use this for that reasoning
3:56 I dont always follow this. Some times I make a point to break it when the same teammate has been walking non stop to rotate or flank when we need them and we are all stuck spectating someone walking around the map
1:21 I love this law. when I AFK in warmup, and some tryhard keeps killing me, I love the satisfaction of knowing theyll be terrible in the actual match
Fun fact: Steel didnt say you should never drop an awp to a low hp player, but on a highest level, its not the smartest thing to do, since when you are someone like kennys, it doesnt make sense to drop awp to a teammate that is not very good with an awp and to use a rifle and diminish your impact by doing so. It all started from rank S game where i think Bogdan wanted an awp because he was low and Steel refused since he knew how shit Bogdan is and that sparked an argument on stream and went viral at the time. Steel also had many other moments where he was wrestling with Bogdan, but he also had moments where he exposed professionals cheat in rank S. Of course, people are defending those pros (i think its markE), but it is very obvious when you listen to what Steel is exactly pointing out. He was a temperamental but very smart guy, too bad he ran away from the cs. Cant blame him tho, there are so many reasons to run and never look back.
2:15 steam message sound. I will always check my messages when I hear that. Damn you nadeking. Ps. Ty for correcting people about saying "peak" it drives me nuts.
I never break the window on mirage. If you leave it, it gives you the best angle into kitchen if you stand on the ledge and look through the little slits. You are on B, Ts all rush mid --> T's have window control, you are still on B and can smoke short and hold B kitchen from that spot.
This doesn't really qualify as an unwritten rule but if you're playing matchmaking and your teammate buys a Zeus there's a 90% chance they are going to teamkill with it
Ya the time off thing is true. Helps alot. Or just hopping on for random games here and there. Playing insntly with no warm up can produce some unlikely results
The no talking in DM or other game modes rule is so strange to me. People chat all the time on our servers and people often meet their CS besties that way. From RSA btw
I haven’t been playing CS:GO for a long time and just a week ago, I started playing again, I top fragged in most of the games I played. Although I can’t play that comfortably because I’m usually a team leader but I play in an internet cafe.
The CT head armour one only applies if you know the terrorists are on a full by, it's best to have head armour if they are on a low buy / half buy as it's not fun to spend $5000 on utility and m4 only to be instantly killed by a guy jumping spamming a Glock.
One thing I hate the most would be someone screaming in their mic when I'm in hard clutch and these action never get old even the game is about to be over 20 years old...
@@gotown1590 for real I learned everything by myself, starting playing in 2015 and never had IRL friends to play with so I just played, watch pro play and laught at memes
you should make a video about common nades everyone must know. Too many supreme matches with my teammates going "I don't know how to smoke jungle, ct, window, short, con". Could be good for new cs players aswell since most of those videos are years old.
Yeah, and finding info differs between 64 and 128 tick. I can’t tell you the number of times I was looking up a smoke mid game (for example, window from t spawn) and I try to follow the guide and when I try it, it doesn’t work because the smoke is only for 128 tick.
Those guys r literally cowards. I mean who the hell saves a Negev in casual. Even if it is 3v5 in casual they will be camping outside the site for kill and not trying for retake. I mean what do u have to lose, it fkin casual
The one about killing 3 players to ruin enemy eco seems to never work in mm. The enemies can lose 5 rounds in a row with no survivors and still buy 2 AWPs
Lol, you forgot another hidden rule. Whenever it's 1v1 situation. Someone will always type your name in chat to distract and hopefully get you to commit to a conversation that prevents you from using a mouse and giving you the slightest disadvantage to react.
Stay quiet during clutches is the least followed rule and its so annoying. I lose like every other clutch because some backseatgamer who is bottom fragging tells me what to do. But I also have a hard time reminding myself to mute the team hahah I wish they would just make it mandatory to play a tutorial that teaches you to stfu when you are dead.
Well actually a lot of steam prices are fine. I've seen higher prices in skinport and d market and thats because you cashout the money so people listing there want to get ez cash. I always check prices everywhere and buy where suits me
I play on Asian servers, first rule, get negev or m249 as quick as possible, second rule, everyone awps (like 4 awps in 1 team) and last rule is buy scar 20 as many times as possible, this is a standard way they play
Nobody talks during warm up.... thats a rule i didnt know that i have lived by since ive started playing cs xD warm up ends is usually followed by "whos got a mic"
Also about the “peek” part, “pick” can also be confusing, to peek is to merely check, regardless of an enemy’s presence, while to pick / pick off is when you know there’s an enemy in a certain angle/position so you peek for the pick. So “playing for picks” is basically to damage or even make an entryfrag somewhere especially in a common contact point such as most maps’ Mid. Peak has nothing to do with all of this, I am not a grammar nazi, but hopefully many people understand that Peak has nothing to do with this topic, unless you talk about ranks, where the PEAK is Global or FACEIT 10 or whatever. So the Peak I guess is our destination for all CS:GO players. ❤ Supergeneral..
This video should be on the front page of the game, too many people are ignoring some of the basic stuff in it. Especialy the part talking about respect/toxicity.
