I suspect the players are getting somewhere between 80-100fps to even have a shot at making shots like those. The AWP sound stock, but being in sync with the music might distort the sound slightly.

The only reason people who play 1.6 don't like source is because the weapons work differently and they don't want to adjust to the newer version because they will automatically become a noob again.
