@@FROSTHAWK247 ah yes, because mapping for a game just as intricately tactical as CSGO AND learning a completely different type of map for a different game is laziness.
+Civl Damn , i still enjoyed the game , i check for global offensive but i dont think im gonna love it , i just check the ak 47 and its look like twice it size than on source
I remember when source first released I remember I always used to put the graphics the lowest to get higher framerate and easier to see enemies but sometimes I'd just turn it up to look at how nice it looked on full the deagle especially looked so sweet, and I came from CRT gaming on ,N64 and PS2 not long before, and 1.6 ofc. I miss that sshit
Needed a good laugh, went and watched a CSS vid. I feel better now. Everything about this game looked so weird. The movement. The guns. Then again I was a pretty big 1.6 purist so I'm biased. ^_^
+Fifty0ne It really wasnt that bad though, I think of it like puberty when your in that awkward stage between a child and adult. Source was that awkward stage between 1.6 and GO lol
I have a question why did source die out so quickly, like 1.6 lasted for ages and no doubt GO will last for quite a while. I really loved source when I was very very young but by the time I wanted to scrim no one wanted a source player xD
dynamic lost a round, saved, partial baught, saved(had guns they picked up), and saved again... guess the one negative of winning so many rounds consecutively... shoulda tried to be more economic when they were up. still doesnt make much sense tho. should get a dynamic player to break down the half explaining wat happened there.
@@generalh1042 Counter strafing is the new meta. Not that strafes werent important in Source, but you didnt have to counter them that much to regain accuracy. Honestly, my late stage CS:S game mechanics werent that much different from what CS:GO expects of you now. Fresh after release, GO were a crap game, same as Source has became (Valve changed a lot and borked mechanics before GO release because they were worried people gonna keep playing Source). Its a shame crouching got nerfed in GO, but given hitreg is worse than in Source... Idk. Obviously most community servers sucked, but a proper one running on a modified Linux kernel to minimize input lag and allow for more frequent updates than the tickrate code required - those were smooth. Essentially proper 1000 fps servers were the original subtick hitreg we had. Eh, times.
