The CS2 inferno received an update changing the maps balcony boost area. This tutorial makes it very easy even for newbies to do the inferno balcony jump in cs2 inferno. #cs2 #cs2inferno #cs2jumps
01:18 - your goal is to avoid colliding with the wall and then strafing to the left in air in order to land on the mini-porch. a) make sure you have enough space for speedy take off b) look to the left of the circle of the road sign; c) while jumping hold only W key, and then add A key as you start approach the small porch d) don't overdo the strafing to the left - the key is to press A button not to early & to strafe slightly. 01:44 - your goal is to land on the right side of the patio porch, because otherwise you will hit the ceiling during the jump. a) move to the right to the very edge of the small porch b1) run until the very end of the small porch before jumping b2) DO NOT JUMP TOO EARLY. d) KEEP HOLDING D during the jump. e) very important - strafe to the right during the jump. f) DO NOT OVERDO THE STRAFING. g) while in air, start holding CTRL key.
The technique of pressing A or D and looking in the same direction is called air strafing and is common in most Source 1 games and also CS2. You want to do a smooth motion. Jerky motions lose you distance.
Can land the first one consistently but the second one really trips me up. Sometimes I make it 3 times in a row, sometimes I miss it 10 times in a row. It's hard to know when you're gonna reach the end and when to exactly move/look right.
Also almost never land on the roof, furthest I can get is on the pole itself, which works, but makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong that I'm jumping so much shorter yet also falling off often.
Take a break, You can start looking right as soon as you jump and press 'd'. Make sure you dont strafe too much to the right using your mouse. Controlled less movement
@@cs2kitchen It seems to go better now that I'm looking up instead of down. Like if I look 'higher than neutral' I often jump on the roof itself, if I'm looking lower than neutral I never do.
just aim for the post when you jump and crouch, no need to strafe or turn in the air - once you make the first jump keep running, aim your crosshair at the little platform on the top of the post and crouch jump
it never ever ever lets me land the second jump no matter how much i strafe to the right, i either hit my head on the roof or strafe too far to the right ive done this countless times at this point,
I am not long jumping. You can see my inputs down. Look to the right slightly while pressing d. Dont press d too soon or else you strafe too much to the right. IF you do so then you can also look to the left for some time at the end
Late comment man but something he doesn't specifically express in the video, although it is demonstrated through the on-display keypresses, is that he presses and holds crouch right after he jumps, so that his head doesn't hit the roof and so he's able to land on that corner area. Maybe this isn't your (or was) problem but I thought I would let you know.
