My gosh, I had followed you all the way from Alyx hammer editor series, finish all of that, and come to you CS series. Had to say CS series is too much faster than the alyx editor one, I am glad I had finish all that courses. You 've done such a great job, and I am truely appreciate all the time and effort you made this.
Learned a lot of important things here! This video really rounds off the series. One thing I like to do with the uv shift buttons at 3:49 is that you can change how much of a shift happens when you increase or decrease the grid size with " [ " or " ] "
I finish my second map after your alyx tutorial and face a lot of problems at UV. It is just too difficult to understand for a beginner. But I keep forgetting ot understanding the modeling hotkeys and logics if I don't practice in a actual map.
Please make how you can port old models and materials from СS GO to СS 2. And how to connect materials and models from other games on the Source 2 engine, like Dota or HL Alix in CS GO.
I didn't actually know this until i googled it after seeing your question, and it is mentioned in the video briefly. UV are just the 2D axis of the texture like X,Y,Z for the 3D space.
