just tried for 20 mins on dust 2, you don't need to spam A + D to do this on dust 2, just get stuck with A + D + W and then hold crouch + A, pretty consistent and honestly i'm about to jump on a competitive match just for the giggles.
also your crosshair should be on the angle and slowly move it to the left while holding crouch + A, kinda hard to explain it in a comment but honestly it's pretty easy to pull once you figure it our.
Dont practice nonsense, that will be patched out in max. a week. EDIT: Actually. Good that you teach how to replicate it, so valve has a much easier job fixing it. Forget what I wrote. Thanks for posting this, so the game gets fixed though. Great work.
sick man idk who did it first i never saw your clip until i came to this comment section but I originally saw it from olof sorta. however many players did it on accident before him
after spending 30 minutes doing this shit all I've learned is it's incredibly inconsistent. there is clearly a lot more to it than vel: 0.44-0.47, view angles likely play a big role as well
we faced players that got on top of the map on ancient, I don't know if they used this mechanic or something else, I did not save the demo might have been a day before they re-enabled them actually.
1:22 How do you record yourself and replay with 3rd person view? I've been meaning to learn making video like this for a while now but never figured out
I figured it out, tv_enable for demo recording (record only record 1st person), tv_record and tv_stoprecord to...well it record the whole thing regardless the timing for my command timing, but this is a start.
now wacthing this i realize how lucky the guy was in one of the first clips i saw of this... he manage to pull this off inside a smoke and get 3-4k after 😂
@@paperino0 yeah I was pretty incredulous of the hitbox explanation because then rotation would push you out of walls and I have not found that to be the case
They probably just had some (non paid) intern use chat gpt to make a port of csgo in their "new engine", which explains all the issues. Don't push an unfinished and untested game onto millions of players. Unless you're an indie dev trying to release a "pre alpha/demo" to get more investment and thus make it better. Especially not as a company that has made billions of $ in profit. Either they're stupid, or they just don't care as long as the money keeps flowing. I could understand a few things going wrong with a game release even as a billion $ company... A few. And not major ones. Yet here we are. They don't care. Go buy more scams, sorry i meant skins ;)
