hey there @allenperera6158, welcome to the channel and thanks for dropping by. Sure, you can always post your inquiries here at the channel. I try to get back to all the posts at least 2x a week, if real-life personal stuff isn't hectic. But if you need professional assistance or urgent support, I suggest you check the TP Link Official forum, the admins there are very responsive. Or you can contact the official TP Link customer support. Alternatively, you can also use the tplink reddit website since there are many users there. If you have budget for tech support, the bigger YT channels offer their professional services as well. Here are the links: * Official Forum - community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/794 * Official Tech Support - www.tp-link.com/us/support/contact-technical-support/ * Reddit - www.reddit.com/r/TPLink_Omada/ * Big YT Channels - ru-vid.com?search_query=tplink+omada Good hunting and thanks again for dropping by!

hey @JasonsLabVideos, thanks for dropping by the channel. If you mean my stack, I did add one SG2210MP, it's a cold-spare but I was testing something and I got lazy putting it back in the box ;).

They are not Stackable, Stackable means using 2 Switches as One Virtual Stack. Basically they dont even support MLAG, so no company would need those, basically there is no proper way to use them in HA, and VRRP is useless on a switch, since every company is using a firewall, only vrrp for inter vlan switching might be usefull, but thats the only case and its often senseless either, since usually companies use even for that an opnsense/pfsense in HA. In short, i dont see any usecase, unifi enterprise 48 poe has at least 2,5g poe ports, which is somewhat future proof for to connect the clients to, but this tp-link ones, i see no real usecase. For backbone switches companies switched to at least 25g, there is no need or usecase anymore for 10g and surely not 1g. Something like 4x 100g + 12x 25g with mlag or stacking are good backbone switches. However in short, im sorry but i dont see anyone who needs that.

hey there @RamaOlama, thanks for dropping by the channel. Not sure if you check the link in the description, but TP Link is calling them Stackable because, like you said, multiple of them can configured as a single device. As for MCLAG/MLAG, I agree that it's a missing feature but seeing TP Link markets this as stackable, and looking at the feature set (including VRRP, HA, 802.3ah, sflow, etc), I can see these useful for ISP deployment near the customer areas for high density customer connectivity so the missing MLAG isn't going be a big impact. Of course, I am just speculating, I don't claim I know how TP Link markets or target their feature set, but that's just how I see these devices looking at the feature set. Besides, most MLAG I have seen are proprietary anyway, so TP Link can't just be an add-in placement for existing MLAG environment. If and when they do support it, it'll be purely a TP Link environment. Thanks again for dropping by the channel and good hunting!
