Thank u..why the two space after the full Stop?

The style for the date change?And also for the different matter styles the block style the date is like this 1 May 2021,semi block May 1, 2021 and the indented May 1,2021? Why I'm asking I saw another video the date style for all is 1 May 2021 so I'm a little confuse does it matter how the date has to be written? And also in my edpm text the date for all the different letter style is written the same like this 1 May,2021. Please help.
