Pedals are great but Please Fanatec can you update us on when the LC kit will be available? It's been "coming soon" since the pedals release. I refuse to purchase the clutch kit and be left with a spare pedal that will never be used again. The lack of info around this is driving us all crazy. Praying we actually do see this in 2021 but very much doubt it.
The CSL Pedals are a two-pedal set without load cell brake. There is a CSL Pedals Clutch Kit if you want to make it a three-pedal set (also without load cell brake). If you want to add a load cell brake, you have to wait for the CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit, which is not yet released. If you purchase the CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit, you do not need to purchase the Clutch Kit, because you can convert the standard brake pedal to the clutch. Please check the product pages for all the info.
Hi buhillo46, I think you are referring to the pedal plate of the RennSport Cockpit V2. This sim rig is available to purchase on our website (but only in EU region). The plate is not available to purchase separately.
@@DomB_Fanatec Is there a pedal plate that is sold separately? It's a shame that the pedal plate RennSport Cockpit V2. not sold separately, would be very successful with new csl pedals
@@buhillo46 We don't offer a separate pedal plate - there isn't much demand for it because all our pedals are intended to be bolted directly to a rig, and have a heel plate as part of the design. Most sim rigs come with a pedal plate or some other mounting solution for pedals. The CSL Pedals mounting points are the same as the CSL Elite and ClubSport Pedals. This means that the vast majority of sim rigs and wheel stands will support the CSL Pedals too.
for different size of feet. if you have a small feet you want it to be lower so you can rest your heel on the plate. that way when you brake, the whole pedal don't lift up. if you have a bigger feet, its for you to be able to use your toe or the part that close to your toes instead of the middle of the feet to brake.
The CSL Pedals in their standard configuration (or with Clutch Kit) do not have updatable firmware. The video demonstrates how to update a Fanatec wheel base in order to ensure compatibility with these new pedals. If used as a standalone USB device, i.e. with the ClubSport USB Adapter, you need to update the firmware of the USB Adapter in the same way. Once the CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit is available, these upgrade the electronics and give the CSL Pedals its own USB connection. Then you would be able to update the pedals firmware directly.
If combined with the ClubSport USB Adapter (sold separately), you can connect the CSL Pedals to a PC as a separate USB input device, therefore you can use the pedals in combination with any wheel base (from any manufacturer) on a PC. For use on a console, the CSL Pedals it must be connected directly to a Fanatec wheel base.
@@javivega8938 You should download driver 405 from the Downloads section of the ClubSport USB Adapter product page (we added the 405 driver to this page because it specifically improves support for the CSL Pedals with the ClubSport USB Adapter, it has no other difference compared to driver 402). Then update the USB Adapter firmware with this driver.
I did all of this and the pedals still don't work on console and pc. I have taken a ticket but have to wait up to 7 working days to hear back from them.
Podium wheel bases have always had wireless quick release firmware. It refers to the internal wireless data and power transfer for the quick release system (this allows our wheels to connect to our direct drive bases without the need for external cables).
hello, how should the load cell brake and the accelerator be connected with the Rj12 cable, I have eliminated the clutch thanks, can it work without downloading the latest drivers?
I would love to get a full fanatec setup but it is ridiculous how I need to pay a extra £350 just to get it shipped to the UK. I don't want to get a Logitech or thrustmaster set up. If anybody can help me maybe even fanatec.
This is not how much the shipping costs to the UK. Please check our website again for correct shipping costs to your address, or use the Live Chat system to discuss it with Customer Service.
Throttle not responding to anything on xbox or on the ps5 tried it without loadcell Kit and tried it with it being connected still nothing latest driver is installed ??
Well, after three weeks of trying to get it work i have send the stuff back. Without returning my payment they can decide for themselves to throw it in the garbage or not.
can someone please help me? I bought the normal csl pedals but the throttle is weird. I have to press it down at least to 50% for it to "recognize" the 1% pressure. help please
Does anybody know how to fix a fluctuating load cell brake??? I just opened these and this issue was already there 😭😭😭 it gets worse as I turn down the pressure sensitivity, if anyone knows how to fix it please help.
i have a trustmaster t150 so i cant put the rj12 cable in there so i bought a rj12 to usb cable to put it in my pc but it doesnt work. the cable is not from fanatec btw
The pedals in this configuration are not firmware-updatable. However, your wheel base might need a firmware update in order to be fully optimised for these pedals.
@@DomB_Fanatec I just the purchase my first sim rig. Bought yall new csl dd..wrc wheel..these pedals..shh shifter ..gt omega art cockpit. I hope these work out off the box for me
wow. nothing on Fanatecs webside told me i had to order an extra adapter. would've just went with the thrustmaster pedals that i cancelled my order for if i knew this. unbelievable. false advertisement
This product does not require drilling. The drilling template is only necessary if the rig/wheel stand you wish to hard-mount it to is not pre-drilled for this hole pattern, then you would need to create some holes. But most sim rigs are pre-drilled for this hole pattern, because it is the same as our ClubSport and CSL Elite pedals.
