This is nuts, this video was pre loaded on my Zune when I was an early teen. This had to be 13 or so years ago. I was obsessed with this music video, but after a few months my Zune crashed. I never knew the name of the song or the band and could never remember any lyrics. It's been nearly 15 years. Every now and then I would try googling things, because all I could remember for sure was the paper ghost in the beginning. And I just now, after over a decade, finally found it. Crazy nostalgia happening to me right now.

For those NOT in the know, Brazil, like most countries in North and South America, is made up of a wide range of ethnicities. Brazil has the largest ethnic Japanese population outside of Japan. The lead singer of mixed ethnicity, including Japanese, but she is most definitely Brazilian by Nationality. CSS MOST DEFINITELY ARE AWESOME!

The irony is that Death From Above 1979 were a super awesome indie/hipster rock band from around this era too.

Really miss this sound, we need a revival of this genre!

So happy to find this band again. I saw them at a festival where they came to Scotland in 2007 when I was only 9 n loved their music so much.

This song is awesome, really catchy in the entire blending. This band is capable to mix alternative and electronics, I can't set CSS albums into a particular category owing to a too wide range of styles they come across. I definitely take them out of rock, but thinking of them like an electronic band sounds unusual as well. We might easily argue about a new kind of music, easier said than shown.

Vi este clipe a primeira vez quando ainda morava no Brasil e na MTV, isso foi em meados de 2007. Curti logo de cara, mas o tempo passou e por alguma razão havia esquecido dessa música. Hoje, deixei rolando um canal de tv a cabo que toca músicas estilo "Indie" e me deparo com este som. Fiquei surpreso como a nostalgia bateu forte aqui. rs Exatos 10 anos depois.

Quem dera se o mainstream atual fosse composta das músicas desse tipo. Tenho 21 anos e tenho saudades de uma época que eu não vivi kkkkk O que eu não vi aqui ninguém comentar mas é bom compartilhar é que a Banda CSS foi mais uma criação do movimento bloghouse que estava acontecendo nessa época, mas é claro que a banda teve outras influências também. Bloghouse era uma onda cultural de estética e musical, que estava no seu auge no final dos anos 2000. Basicamente o gênero musicais da onda era o: Indie Rock (CSS, Bloc Party, LCD Soundsystem) e Electro House (Skrillex, Justice, Daft Punk e etc...) Como eu sou jovem ainda, infelizmente não tive a oportunidade de aproveitar essa onda de músicas mais desconhecidas dessa época. Mas graças aos jogos eu conheço essa banda e toda essa onda cultural. A banda CSS tem uma música chamada Odio Odio Odio Sorry C, que está presente no jogo Need For Speed Pro Street, como também outras músicas do gênero Bloghouse. Impressionante também como a cidade de São Paulo é bem underground. Varias ondas culturais alternativa que só enroquece essa cidade que eu gosto tanto, apesar dos seus problemas...

This song has always been a catchy tune, but I’ve always had to laugh about the fact that this song is practically entirely composed with sound effects and sampling yet they have three guitarists in the video lol. The part where they’re all jamming out and whistling at the end is funny too. Lol.
