CSX freight train comes through Brunswick Md with engine 5400 in the lead. They stop for a crew change while people and cars carelessly use the crossing right in front of the train, even while it is approaching. One of nine trains filmed that day.

Thanks. I downloaded a 2009 MTH train catalog recently and at least two variants of the freight locos I filmed this day were in there.

I was lucky that day. Probably trying out a new camcorder if I had to guess. The Capitol Limited goes through eastbound around 11:30 a.m. and westbound around 5:00 pm. So I've made a day trip of it sometimes, maybe going to Harpers Ferry for a while or to the Brunswick railroad museum which has a nice model train layout. Sometimes I've just stuck around because you may see 4-5 freights between the passenger runs. I think this was one of those days.

@boardman49 It has to make the train crews somewhat paranoid at times. Particularly since a very smal number of people step in front on purpose. I try to make sure train crews see my camcorder if I'm near the tracks.
