@KHVEDOR Yes, these locomotives are supposed to be environmental friendly. 3 700 horsepower Cummins QSK19C diesel engines. Engines run independently of each other and depending on the need of speed and amperage, 1, 2, or 3 of the engines will be used which total to 2,100 HP
Always with a great interest I look your videos! These are very class locomotives! I see on a cowl three exhaust nozzles, - hence at these switchers on three engines? And everything are involved in work not, but only on one on everyone? It as that is connected with an inscription about low level of harmful blowouts?
@Melissa0859 Sorry. I try not to get employees during filming, so no one gets in trouble. Next time will be from a different angle. It's rare to see freight trains in NYC and this is probably one of the last places in NYC.
