Hii Guys, please Join our Facebook Group 'Nitin's Community for Electrical Engineers', to ask anything related to 'Electrical' and especially about 'EHV Power Transmission System'. But please do not post silly questions like posting a photo and asking what is this what is this, its very irritating. Also, no Good Morning, Goodevening or Festival messages please. very good and supr explanation sir now ple be continue 33kv related all video with schamatic but here ple clear what is imp. of p1 and p2 which side we connect p1 and p2
Place the P1 in such a way that current flows into the protected object via P1. (So, in case of feeder at a substation, busside should be P1. Similarly for Transformers in a substation, place P1 of the HV side of the trf towards the Bus. In the secondary side also, make P1 towards the LV bus/line side. NCT's P1 also should be away from Trf's Neutral bushing..) Hope this helps!
So, does always S2 or S3 terminals are used as positive sequence source for Metering relay supply ? Also why 3 pronged terminals pls (to decrease primary current) ? Also pls make vid - that by keeping 3 sec terminals how primary current be divided n not the sec current of CT ? thnks & regards, Ammad Asim, Project Manager, Utility
Good sir Will you please make a vedio on 1)overcurrent and earth fault relay wiring in detail -> relay induction disc type. 2) Metering wiring. 3)Ammeter and voltmeter wiring. 4) Auxilary relay wiring. 5) VAJ relay
Sir 2-3 doubts which i have after this are as follows: 1. What is exactly meant by p1 being the reference for metering and p2 being the reference for protection?what if it is done vice versa? 2. While making a star in the secondary circuit, if suppose required ratio is 200:1 then we use s1 and s2 or s3 and s2, but when we short the terminals say we make star at s3 and yhe other point is s2,then what happens to the s1 terminal, where and how it is connected? 3.kindly explain the connections to TTB box.what is meant by we can short the terminals as already the secondary is shorted so what is the purpose of TTB? Kindly revert please
Yoy will have to do the polarity test of the CT. In that assume one pole to be P1 and then carry out the Polarity test. If it is P1, the pointer will move in forward direction and if the pointer moves in reverse direction, it is P2. Don't worry we will make a video on CT Polarity test.
