You would hope that this wouldn't lead to fraud and more scamming, but of course we sadly know that it will, especially when there's a relatively low cost to this new tech, but nice analysis of this Drans!
@ogquasimojo I think the cost is going to come down to what the average investor bro is willing to pay to scan their vintage.... sadly some of the worst actors are people who are just in it for the money
it's disheartening that people have to resort to ways like CT scanning packs, takes away the thrill of chasing those top cards and ruining the secondary market for everyone except those that takes advantage of this. Thanks as always for you content and your insight on this!
The CT Scanning is going to bring the market down so much unfortunately. It will drive me to buy more singles than sealed product. The new slabs look really nice though! Give us more! xD
I was wondering how this would affect legacy collecting, and I think you've nailed it. I'm sure it was a really fun project for the CT techs to perfect, but ethically they probably should have kept it under their hat or at least not created a service that would obviously get abused.
@longboarderrrr7 I was planning on getting Rockets 1st edition booster box to celebrate my channel hitting a big milestone (like 10k subs) but now I am doubting it
@@DransPokeCorner despicable people just in it for money. I can't stand them. How are kids supposed to enjoy the hobby when people are scamming everyone.
ive been talling people for along time to just not buy from resellers cause they can screw you over even before this but now resellers can start doing it even more
For $75 a pack it makes no financial sense to CT scan packs. Just dont buy vintage packs. Odds are that you wouldnt make your money back anyways as a buyer.
