I watch a lot of your videos and I want to say this Every system starts under your hood and clean power and the right enclosure ,like you say you can make anything sound good but kicker q class r a beast, brother-in-law has 2 kicker q 10 Behind 3rd row seat in a custom box under power with a kicker 800 and will blow your mind. I can tell you're not dropping voltage, appreciate what you do 💯💪🏾🔊
I ordered the sundown u8s Friday afer watching your vids on them. I had to decide between the u8's and the ct meso. Would love the see a battle between the two subs! Keep up the good work brother!
Folks understand these tests are unique in the fact of explanation, build quality and power of his vehicle and equipment you still have to have a good install and know what you doing as far as setup and equipment. It's all in fun but I still like the technical side of things because it is true when it comes to performance equipment, install and power says it all. I've been in tuned pro cars it makes you rethink how you enjoy music, everything is relevant to whoever enjoys a certain thing about car audio. Enjoy folks this is our world

That's awesome. If you consider the price difference between the CT meso, the Kicker, and the Sundown that's pretty impressive that it's within 1.5 DB of the sundown and the kicker. Compared to those the CT Sounds is supposed to be a low budget sub. Or am I mistaken?
@@M.B.Enclosures I'm looking at it from a budgetary standpoint. For someone who doesn't have $249 to pay for a kicker or $300 to pay for a sundown then 189 might not be a bad compromise if you're somewhere near the neighborhood of their output. It'll never beat an in-house design because there's a limit to what you can do with a Chinese build house basically. But if someone had a build that would fit the CT Sounds Meso I wouldn't feel bad recommending it to them especially if they were building on a budget. Building for Sundown, DD, Kicker and B2 audio is like New Jack City. You got to have cash money brother. Also, great content keep it up. Apologies I didn't say that from jump.
The side port boundary loaded made a big difference. If maximum output is the goal you could do a series of videos on the subject of box placement and port loading couples to the vehicles cabin gain. Keep up the good work.
@@M.B.Enclosures love the vids but perhaps I need glasses. In the first video there is clearly a front firing port on the left of the box unless you blocked it off?
Went back and looked at the first Meso video must have been the camera angle cus I too thought it was front ported. Figured that’s why there was a rematch with a new box for Meso that was side ported like the other subs that had been in the ring 🤷 Regardless love the Bass Boxing can’t wait to see who steps into the ring next
Loving it.mbe you gotta test the rockville rvl69w. I know it's not that 8"sub but these 6x9 are the hardest hitting base 6x9 out there. there aint no other 6x9 that can match and there's no good enclosures I've seen in any of the videos that give this speaker Justice. they're not expensive there $59 I'm not sure of it for a pair of for each but you really gotta try them out Trust me Cone area's king so these guys would be the king of 6x9!! please give them a try you won't be disappointed
have you ever tested the FI ssdv4? granted its a 12 or higher i was comparing specs to the l7q and most of the t/s parameters looked better also everything is build and handmade in house in USA

So my two 8in subs in a horn enclosure that easily play with authority down to 28hz are mid bass? It’s all about the tuning and driver selection matching up plus a lot of experience and know how. It’s not as simple as you think.
@@pike3685 I'm with you there bud. I'm running two 8's in a 6th order with a similar description of output, on low power making 125db in a 3 row crossover. 8's done right do just fine. I don't listen to much music with SUPER low bass anyways. Can't feel it below 27-28.. but it's still there.
distorted mess.....i never get these terrible recorded videos.....i get the XMAX viewing but listening to a mess is not helping a review....i record mine using a aPP that doesnt allow clipping.
