Great review man. Thanks for taking the time to include important details, like hitting the buttons with gloves on being suboptimal. That's super helpful.
The unit had serious potential.A coue of quirks but all in all a solid unit.I got serious battery drain from the device when i was using an arisaka ir head. With the Kiji the issue went away.Hopefully he gets back to making them someday.
I've always thought having a double kiji, one 3 degree and the other 10, would be perfect for transitioning from cqb distance to outdoors. Dedicated white light on the side of the gun with separate buttons so you don't accidentally ND
This guy should take his website down. I've been hoping he was just making them really slowly. He's giving us false hope for something we all desperately need for out night setups.
that’s all good except you can’t get one. they’ve been out of stock for over a year. i talked to the owner and he said they were in the middle of a new design that would be released in early 2023 but alas, nothing yet.
too bad you can not aim the illuminator, if your point of impact is off center or out of the beam you are SOL, the Kiji can perform out to distance but without adjustments for A & E you are at the mercy of how things line up.
