@@HandepsilonThey're rewriting the code from the original game so we get a 1:1 decompile in the end. RN around 72% is done iirc, once we have 100%, it means we can get a working PC port without the use of an emulator - like DuckStation in this case. However the veey last % will be very difficult, so it's still probably a matter of a few years until a fully playable PC port is out. Tho we are at a point where the devs can experiment with what they do understand, which you can see in this video.
Man, I remember going over 100% on all characters on adventure mode, beating all the n tropy and n oxide ghosts; but this, this is amazing. I was always alone doing what I did, never had anyone to play the game with T_T
DuckStation. OnlineCTR only works with DuckStation, because the client file is coded so that it embeds itself into the DuckStation memory, where it reads, sends and receives info about the race via a network.

@@pedrokunkka4212 He's a speed character like in the original, same as Dingo, Tiny and Papu Papu. But it doesn't matter because now the speed and accel stats are maxed for every character and only the turning stat is default. This change was to make other engines beside speed viable, and it makes it more fun, it doesn't force you to play with just 1 engine style. Engine swapping is something they're currently working on, so it will be a feature soon.
