Man your point about re-purposing ideas from lower-quality titles and putting them in a new context is something that REALLY struck me. It's something that I really wish the Sonic series would do, especially after Sonic Mania. The recent Team Sonic Racing game seemed like it *sort of* had those vibes, given the callbacks it makes to the Adventure games and Heroes, but it really didn't go far enough. Oh, except for including Zavok as a racer, because the Deadly Six are obviously such beloved and winning characters.
Same. I'd been hoping Crash would do something like this for years. So many good character concepts, so much inferior execution. Crunch in particular. I agree on Sonic, too. Mania was the right way to go, aesthetically. None of these Final Fantasy plots. Just colourful places, characters and cool robots.
@@Eminster I see what you're saying, but a couple of things: - I feel story in a Sonic game should be there for context and setting up potential gameplay concepts. - I don't think Unleashed is the best example. It's still got that over-complicated nature of '06, Black Knight, Secret Rings. That and I don't like that there's humans other than Robotnik. I like Sonic to be light and fun, but having some stakes is good. As flawed as it is as a game, I quite liked *Lost World's* story and thought it fit in nicely with the older games.
Don't know why. The Nitro Kart content is clearly poorly implemented and tacked-in this game. There is no Nitro Kart adventure mode to justify their presence in CTRNF, and when one plays the actual Adventure Mode in this game, they'll be left asking themselves who are these characters in the pit stop and these stages I've never raced on. The Nitro Kart content has NO purpose whatsoever, it's just mere content taken from NK made to work and then put in the game to have something extra to select. Before that one patch, the CNK characters even had to use the Uka Uka Mask instead of Velo's. The game isn't Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled, it's Crash Team Racing: With Selected and Copied but modernized Nitro Kart content. Team Sonic Racing did it properly. I swear the game's moderate stage and character selection somehow constantly affecting people's judgment to the degree that it does is truly repugnant. It properly brought back stages AND characters from the past while making them relevant in both the game's storyline and adventure mode, something CTR:NF doesn't do whatsoever. Secondly, TSR is a budget title for a reason; it went "far enough" for what it is. People sure do love constantly ignoring that fact and even comparing it to the full budget priced at launch Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed anyway.
LMAO I just got done rewatching your videos on N. Sane Trilogy and Reignited and thought, "I wonder if he knows about Nitro Fue...oh!" Perfect timing haha!
So I know that this thread is two years old and by this point the game's development has ended completely, I wouldn't say the CNK story/full adventure mode was really needed. If someone with no Crash knowledge were to play the game, having two completely separate storylines with largely the same plot structure (alien forces the characters to race) would've felt somewhat repetitive. The fact we even got the CNK tracks and characters at all was not something that we were expecting to get, so expecting a full-on CNK remaking on top of that feels like asking a little too much for something they didn't *need* to focus on. Now, would I have liked if they integrated the CNK tracks into a post-game of sorts in the main adventure mode? Yes. Kinda like how the gem cups are all in a single room, it didn't need to be much more expansive than that. Have a secret room in each hub open that has three CNK tracks a piece in it, with a final 200% completion for getting everything in those tracks too, all Crash Bash style.
"This sends a clear message that all of Crash's past is being recognized and is being incorporated with real purpose". *WHERE IS MY CRASH WITH TRIBAL TATTOOS COSTUME YOU COWARDS*
Just when I thought I couldn’t love B Mask anymore he starts spreading Crunch love! Damn, man! Can we be best friends? The requirement to be my best friend is to keep making cool videos for me. Cool? Cool.
i thought i was the only person who was disappointed by the removal of the zero gravity sections on the CNK tracks. i don’t even have much nostalgia for CNK, but something big feels missing when i drive through the CTRNF versions of the tracks. *especially* hyper raceway
Since we don't have Fake Velo as a racer nor his custom kart I could see them doing some kind of Nitro Kart story DLC down the line which at the very least brings an 'extended' Hyper Spaceway for his boss fight.
I really agree with this video. Beenox have done a fantastic job in visually building upon the CTR tracks, as well as giving CNK tracks a proper identity. I love the animations and visuals, and how it borrows and builds upon different parts of the series. Like the easter eggs in tracks like drag Cortex, cutscenes with Chick N' Stew, or the CTTR inspired karts. All really cool stuff and makes Nitro Fueled a celebration of the franchise overall, as it should be. There's also plenty of small quality changes throughout, like being able to exit the game-mode selection menu after driving into a track's warp circle in the adventure mode. Or being able to play some of the tracks previously missing in Local Arcade in the original, like Oxide Station. Even some of the mechanical changes, like boosting always being additive so you can keep fire longer, are generally considered a positive thing (at the least more intuitive). For the most part the racing feels pretty good and matches up decently with the original. The new tracks are a blast and I can't wait to see even more. Activision's handling of the game has been pretty scummy, no surprise, but there's so much to love regardless. You mentioned that you aren't skilled enough at the game to critique its mechanics. Sometimes I feel like I've spent too much time with both games to where it hinders my experience. I love Nitro Fueled, but would likely enjoy it a lot more if I didn't have a fairly deep understanding its design flaws. I'll summarize my thoughts on the main areas of the game. There's a lot of missed opportunities with refining certain aspects of gameplay in areas the 1999 version faltered. Things like building a better difficulty curve for adventure, making the stat screen line up with the programmed values (i.e. Coco actually has a higher top speed than Crash!), improving stat balance (on all tracks and all skill levels, Acceleration tends to be much stronger than Beginner/Intermediate classes. And speed is objectively the best for competitive players.) The framerate is still capped at 30, which is a shame for a racing game that prides itself on feeling smooth. The hard mode difficulty of adventure makes the game a lot more fun and replayable for skilled players. But even this could have been done better, as the AI have severely boosted stats to compensate for low intelligence (you can't learn to play well from watching them, even though they're super fast). As for the online mode, unfortunately I feel it is incredibly clunky in every aspect. The item design is a 1:1 port of the original (which was primarily designed for single-player and doesn't mesh up well with its advanced speed mechanics). The item design makes luck too large a factor (often even more than Mario Kart) and it causes online to be excessively front-advantage - catching up is not nearly as viable as it should be which makes racing less engaging. Every match online tends to have players who have mastered the mechanics, so newcomers aren't even given an opportunity to win and slowly improve (even PUBG has matchmaking! CTR's could probably be improved a bit, but skill disparity may be inevitable with a dwindling playerbase). The loading/wait times during already full lobbies are unncessarily long. The customization is great, but there is no presets. Another disappointment is the lack of local play online (despite this being completely possible, in fact a bug allowed it at some point). And of course the haphazardly strung together netcode used in the game: excessively offense favoured hit registration (even ignores the attacker's latency...), the lack of host migration, and lack of lag compensation. And of course the bugs like crosshairs being completely unreliable, desyncing players (shown as hopping instead of powersliding), desyncing traps placed on the ground (don't show up but you get hit), tracks not loading in once the race starts, correct models not syncing correctly with the textures, and warp orbs sitting inside 1st's face (I think caused by the player who threw it leaving). I'll only touch on microstransactions, but I do feel they detract from the experience as well. Nitro Fueled takes a step back in driving and physics polish. Randomly crashing and falling into the void when trying to take a ramp, crash calculations that are too lenient (often fully crash when just touching a wall at a slight angle), wall collisions in general killing your speed way too much, floaty edge collisions, less refined jump trajectories, invisible walls that don't match up with visuals, downwards slope forces applying too harshly when you are just sitting on them (you get thrown down steep ramps and can't overpower it easily by accelerating), and how the game gives you reverse controls whenever you are moving backwards (and not just when you are reversing). Overall everything feels a bit worse, which is a real shame considering CTR's gameplay is one of its strongest pros. The biggest difference in driving feel is how exiting powerslides is no longer consequential, so you take take much tighter turns as you exit a powerslide. I dislike this personally from a design perspective even though I've now adjusted to it, but others may prefer the feel of the original (however many people just prefer it because it becomes their 'CTR muscle memory', and makes comparisons feel biased to Nitro Fueled as they struggle to adjust).
Honestly CTR Nitro Fueled absolutely blows almost every remake/remaster/reimagining out of the water. It would've been so easy to just do a straight port and call it a day, but they went above and beyond by bringing in content from a game that was SO CLOSE to being a great game and polishing it up to be on par with the stuff everyone already loves from OG CTR. Any other remake/ect. of any game/collection is going to have to try pretty hard to match the level of effort put into this game. Now, if only we could get that goofy-ass boss kart from CNK...
The tag mechanic was so abusable that it trivialize the game. I'm not exaggerating when I say that you can LITERALLY win every race by attaching to nina and detaching just before the race ends. That said, the comedy of the game was really fun, specially crash dying and the chickens.
Of all the N. Sane character updates, Crunch suits them the best. He was always a large presence among the heroes figuratively and literally, and the minimal fur effect plus the smaller eye size/squash and stretch animation suits him a lot.
For every franchise, if you're lucky, you'll get about 10 years of good original content. Then, like clockwork, it'll go on a downward spiral of callbacks, reimaginings, and reboots. Creative risks are scary, everyone liked the original, so let's just do that again.
SHAWKLAN 27 how are they being greedy? Are you regarded? You’re greedy because you want to get paid for your work then. Giving someone an option that doesn’t cost them money would be moronic to not include. Don’t buy coins if you don’t think it’s worth the money. That’s not greedy to include that lol
@@jessejive117 stoped being a option after they raised the pit stop prices, Activision is fucking rich, Beenox too, Activision, EA, Ubisoft and unfortunately now Bethesda and Rockstar is all full of crap, the only ones you can give the chance is SOME indie developers, the only big one with full trust now is CD Project, so please just stop and don't embarrass yourself anymore.
@@jessejive117 because Microtransactions isn't being greedy, especially when the game launched without them AND did very well. You're part of the problem not the solution.
@@TerrorOfTalos The level design was still good, and it has better variety than the classics. Only the monkey bar sections really sucked. Wrath really suffers from unappealing & badly aged graphics, but to be fair it was one of the earliest PS2 titles.
Saying that activision is on a path that's dodgy, mate they've been rocking microtransactions for years, putting microtransactions into games after launch has been standard practice for them for ages now, all the "recent" call of duty games have been doing it.
Activision will ruin the game if that means they can make even more money. They don't care about the game , the faster fanboys of this game realize this the better it will become
To answer your question at the end, the other reason why they remove the Anti-Gravity Sections from the Nitro Kart Tracks is that this is a Remastering of Crash Team Racing Not Nitro Kart. Remember in the Orignal CTR They never had any Anti Gravity sections or the Team Mechanic since those were found only in the Orignal Nitro Kart, They wanted to Remake those Nitro Kart Tracks to fit with the Gameplay Style of CTR and that meant cutting/Reshaping the tracks from Nitro Kart
@@jamesnelson5618 don't get me wrong it would be neat to see them remake Nitro Kart but why would they? They pretty much combined the content of Nitro Kart into CTR. It would be like if they did the remake of Nitro Kart with the anti Gravity and team mechanic then added the content of CTR with its characters and remake the original tracks to have anti gravity sections
@@Johnnekaiser sorry sir for your information I believed we really don't want the opposite at all or reverse remakes I sort of like it the way it is because it better this way and it would be great if they include items from nitro kart like the ice item besides we already have velo mask and it would be great if they update the game by adding teaming mode in race when gain up the gauge in full max and activated your special to released many random item what ever we want it would be so sick and radical also one more thing to add is adventure mode of cnk just only for fun nonthing else you can do to unlock but play as much you like even put retro music of actually (ps2) cnk like they did with ctr to get more retro stuff so if you understand my point you'll be great will have the game bigger and have more jampack awsome it will be amazing.😊😊👍

Twinsanity needs a remake the most looking back at all the cut content it had. Fortunately the game still held on it's own without the content but it'd be great to see what a completed Twinsanity would look like, the potential is really high.
I used to play Crash twinsanity as a kid, and to this very day, I still own the game, as well as Crash nitro kart & Crash tag team racing. But yeah, I hope there is a Twinsanity remake in the near future😆😆

@@darkhpokinsngaming8889 That's stupid. A game can be good ( see BO4 ) and then getting ruined because of the atrocious monetization. You do realize defending a publisher that only cares about making money is stupid right ?
@@darkhpokinsngaming8889 r/gatekeeping I loved the game, a lot of the enjoyment was the sheer amount of content I could unlock by playing it! Who would I unlock? What items would I choose? These were all aspects of personal expression whilst showing I'd put the effort in. And then they made the effort unreasonable (highet costs, which would be fine alone) and implemented a way to skip the effort entirely by paying money. It was so transparently greedy that it cast a bit of a shadow on the innocent fun for me whilst simultaneously nullifying the draw of the Grand Prix. So yeah, I love the game, it's great, but I don't feel right supporting something with such exploitative monetisation. Take a game, no microtransactions (which was a big part of positive reviews including my own) market it out and once the fans are all hooked...! ... crank up the grind, dangle carrots and suddenly add mtx, letting them pay money to skip it. ... Yeah. Maybe you can ignore that. But I have a harder time.
KoolerRaid I’m not defending shit, I hate their behavior too, but idiots saying that it straight up stopped them from buying the game or shit like that are actual drama whores who are better off not infect the game

@Doomarang3 Yes, it IS optional, but the fact that it's there in the first place is the problem. And since it's there, Activision will continue to adjust the rewards system to where the "choice" is no longer valid. Just look at Black Ops 4.
@Doomarang3 Ahaha look at B04 you big idiot. The Loot Boxes are "optionals" remember ? And still ruined the game. You are clearly naive for believing this is healthy for the game
@Doomarang3 go watch the videos by Jim Sterling about why all microtransactions are predatory. Fuck, kids get bullied for having old/default skins in fortnite! It creates a system and community of haves and have nots. They are all bad.
People are overreacting over this UNLESS they reduce the amount of wumpa coins you get after each race or make the items more expensive, then THAT'S not okay
No Crash Bash? C'mon buddy, you said it yourself, they have the power to refine a game that may not have been so good like CNK, so imagine the beast they could make out of a really fun game like Crash Bash
I came to this video after seeing it posted somewhat anxious (after seeing your NST video a while back, things have changed quite a bit regarding that, despite me still not on the same page), knowing the current technical state of the game and well, I came pleasantly surprised with how you thought about the game, and especially seeing you coming from being disinterested to being interested in it, well done.
With all the microtransaction drama this video is a breath of fresh air. I honestly just expected this game was only going to be CTR remade with a few tracks from CNK being remade, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much was added to the end product. Also feel the same way as you about the change of Hyper Spaceway's aesthetic.
I traded this in last week. It's a shame too; it was one of the greatest games I've ever played, but the microtransactions just felt... dirty to me. As a completionist (and someone with dat OCD), I *seriously* wish there was a way I could unlock everything without grinding excessively. Hopefully Activision will fix this, but I doubt it.
Yeah I can relate. I miss the days when you could complete games without investing a small fortune in them. It's honestly killing my enjoyment of gaming as a whole.
I would love so much a second part of this video, with all the now added content from the date of this video to now, you could make another video on how they managed so well to recognize Crash as a fat and long franchise, they even created a new character :)
There needs to be a crash bash remake. Think about all the kids that are getting into crash because of the revival, they need to have their childhood ruined with that game from hell just like mine was. And for your information I’m not salty over losing the memory card that held my save file nearing 100%.
Having the coin rewards only be a reasonable amount on weekends makes me not wanna play though. The game is just too grindy, I spent a good few weeks only playing it and it’s just not fun anymore. They should reward the players better, it’s just cosmetic items so I hate how it feels like you have to play for days to get a few items.
Awesome review! Are you gonna talk about the original MediEvil ps1 or when the PS4 remake at all? I honestly loved the ps1 original and think it's truly an underrated series! Can't wait for October!
I know it's very unlikely, but I really hope they do a sequel (not a REMAKE) of CB Twinsanity now that they have brought back the character. I loved that game and would love to see more with that crazy, fun and unique style.
The GP-Limited items can be purchased at a later date supposedly at a discounted price. I am missing the *Painter Dingodile* and the *Nitro Squad Sticker* Bundle from the Nitro Tour GP.
Too bad Activision ruined the game as usual. Butchering the customizion because of money. What baffles me even more is that some people really are defending this. How can you even think they are making the loving community of Crash a favour ? Just look at Bo4 and cry
This came out so soon after Sly and the Beyond Words discussing how you’ll focus on more bite-sized topics, like hot damn B-Mask you work fast. Also yeah I hope the next game in the series is wholly new in line with what we saw from N Sane but with updated models and assets that still retain the spirit they were going for with the N Sane artstyle. Let’s hope we never see this version of the baby Bandicoots again... *shudders*
@@Dante_Sparda_DMC Bash has online potential, and is more popular in general which would make Activision way more money than they would remaking Twinsanity(an unfocused poor man's Crash game with a diehard fanbase).
@@Dante_Sparda_DMC Bash's sales speak for itself how much more popular it was compared to Twinsanity. While you're pulling "thousands of people prefer twinsanity over bash" outta your ass just because you're so use to this fanbase over praising it. So while you assume "thousands" of people prefer Twinsanity over Bash, I'm pretty sure over 1 million people don't even remember Twinsanity which is more than that game's sales, lol. Learn to think outside the fandom, there's more nostalgia in Bash than in Twinsanity making the Twinsanity fanboys look like loud minorities.
I would be way more excited to see a brand new Crash adventure. Crash Bash was fun and all, but the possibilities of what could be in terms of gameplay and story is way more exciting.
This is literally the first time I've played a Crash Bandicoot game. A friend recommended this to me. Never had any PlayStation systems so I never had the chance to play them. I can't believe I've survived without Crash for so long. This game is amazing and I'm tempted to check out more games in the series. :o
Despite.... The fact that the weapons are unbalanced and rng is terrible. The fact that Activision is scummy and anti-consumer The fact that the p2p servers suck The only online race mode has sbmm which ensures I play with like the top 100 in the world and makes for sweeeeattty ass gameplay I fucking love this game. It’s a love letter to fans, it’s just too bad Activision will milk them if they can. Best of luck to Beenox.
11:17 I personally feel like the reason as to why the tracks in Crash Nitro Kart have all the Antigravity Sections was to make it like the original CTR when it comes to track Design, Keeping it Simple by simply removing the Anti Gravity Feature.
@@MSCLeap75 I think that making a new game that has concepts from Twinsanity would be perfect as it expands on the outdated formula of the original trilogy. I don't think they should remaster either game, but hey that's just my opinion!
@@Infiniche_ I'm all for a new game, but I don't think the formula of the originals was outdated since it was so unique to Crash as a 3D platformer. It can be expanded upon to be made bigger than in the originals. Twinsanity did away with what made Crash so unique, and instead focus on comedic based gameplay relying on Cortex as a gimmick for progression, making the game feel like a glorified spin off imo. I want the new game to greatly expand upon what made the originals great, since the original formula(in Nsane) did bring old & new fans back to the series. Ditching it so suddenly would probably turn off people who loved Nsane.
@@MSCLeap75 Bash is a nonsensical spin off made purely to fill a gap. I enjoy it to a degree but there is no reason to remake it, we'd just be wasting time. Twinsanity however was attempting to move the series forward, and suffers due to an inexperienced dev team and therefore feels incomplete. A lot of people enjoy it, and I think a new game that attempts to use elements from it would really bring the series forward. Makes way more sense to make a new game off the back of an unfinished project than a straight copy of something again. I know you've been commenting on this video for the last three days in a strange effort to assert that Bash should be remade at all costs, but look at it this way. They announce a remake of Bash, a game you've already played. You're hit by a bus the day after. You will die without ever knowing what a new adventure for crash looks like. Life's too short.
@@BMask It seems like you're getting the false impression that I want a remake of Bash over a new game when that's definitely not true. I've said numerous times that I'm all for a new game, but if they happen to remake Bash then I wouldn't mind it since it's one of my favorite Crash games along with CTR, I'm pretty sure lots of people outside this current Crash community on the Internet(who loves to downplay most post-ND games like Bash) enjoy and had lots of fun with their friends playing Bash. Can't say the same for Twinsanity since it's very poor sales signifies that not a lot of people outside this fanbase played or remembers it since it was the odd ball for the series at the time. I never implied that Bash should be remade at all costs since if they just made a new game instead, I would be way more happy about it than another remake since we haven't had a new game in over a decade. Bash wasn't a nonsensical spinoff, it was needed to give the Crash series a multiplayer party based game along with the kart racing genre that CTR provided basically rivaling Mario series Kart & Party games. Bash's purpose was to be a multiplayer focus game that had various party games unique to only the Crash series. It even had coop mode(first game with coop in the series) in its adventure mode. The game was a great way for everyone who loved Crash at that point to play together with various different characters. Knowing Activision who loves to make cash outta games with a lot of nostalgia, remaking Bash over Twinsanity by them makes more sense especially since the game would be a lot simpler to make, holding way more nostalgia than Twinsanity, have the highest online potential, as well as being able to get the Nitro Fueled treatment with extra content.
Oh, and also!: Yes, the Grand Prix-exclusive items will come back, to address another issue you brought up. A “coming back soon to the Pit Stop!” message pops up for those items/characters if you hadn’t already unlocked them, likely once the current GP ends and before the next begins.
I actually wouldn't mind if they completely reimagined Crash Bash's concept but as a full classic Mario Party clone, because you're a fucking fool to think Nintendo will ever go back to the N64 era Mario Party
One, don't feel too bad about N. Tropy. Crash Cove is apparently one of hus hardest times to beat. Two, if Beenox did to Crash Bash what they're doing with CTRNF, I'd welcome it with open arms.
Thank you! This seems so underappreciated, or at least feels like people take it for granted, encorporating post-ND stuff. Crash 4 already exists wether you like it or not and as flawed as post-ND games were, it would be a mistake and also a waste trying to erase them completely. Crash 4 already exists. (Har har original CTR is already Crash 4 har har.) I wrote it off at first too but they just improved so much for all the wonk that is still there. And reimagining post-ND stuff. I wish more remakes would do that. If I think about it HGSS (which I hold are the single best game remakes out there) were successful with this too. Of course they added in newer mons but didn't restrict them like FRLG and they had that cool Arceus event and stuff from Sinnoh and man. I dunno. While some of those things were small they just worked, and they improved some sidelined things from the original (like giving Givanni an appearance and adding new landmarks to certain areas- they didn't do a perfect job with all them but the effort was appreciated and made those games fuller). ... The pit stop killed CTR for me though so... I'm just going to wait. The pit stop itself, not just MTX. Tying cosmetics to online means they will arbitrarily, only to benefit the publisher, be made unavailable soon. Activision have done this and just cut off this kind of content and multiple entire game with Skylanders, they'll do it with no compromise, no doubt. And that, that just sucks. That hurts the timelessness of it when remakes should you know, in part, update the game and help it stand longer. Anyway, I saw this coming as soon as they had the Oxide edition and pre-order skins, which in themselves are scummy. They're not as bad as some other stuff that happens in this industry now but I play games where those things were never a problem. These are just problems that shouldn't exist which Activision are clearly to blame for. Also fun fact. Down here the game isn't cheaper than any other and Oxide Edition is $100 and digital-only. Activision hate Aus. Also those Sour Patch promos which are US-only. It pisses me off so much because the MO is so clear and again, these things didn't use to be issues, and they shouldn't, and years from now these things are gonna be missing. But Beenox have just done a way better job, I don't really know what to say except they cut a lot of the cheaper assets that held back NST. I hope the next mainline game is going in this direction and that the reappearance of all these characters and even locations isn't just one-off. Aye though m8 the original Out of Time is cool as fuck so I give your review a 0/10 nostalgiafag /s
Activision/Blizzard won't get a dollar out of me for a game with microtransactions in it. If they wanted me to spend money on cosmetics and a season pass, they wouldn't charge up from for the opportunity to spend more.
I feel like instead of remaking the original trilogy, they should’ve remade the flawed spin offs such as Wrath or Cortex and Twinsanity. The original trilogy is perfectly fine on its own, but those games could do with remasters to take them to their full potential.
the microtransaction thing hurt like a bitch, but CTRNF is indeed my favorite racing game. i also get enjoyment from posting bugs from it on my twitter.
*sniff sniff* You smell that? That's the scent of a total lack of *Nina Cortex.* Wonderful. ^_^ Also ditto about Crunch. Now if new games can just write him well, I'd be pleased as punch. 10:58 *"KILL ME!!!"*
Do a retrospective of Spider-Man PS4 or the Spectacular Spider-Man TV series, i won't stop nagging you until you do something with Spider-Man, i want to see you talk about that character
I agree completely with the offline wampa incentives. The offline challenges(daily, or weekly) are fine but still nothing compared to online coin earnings. I like the golden wampa they added that you have to catch up to, but there are so many modes that should have all had a different reward value. Instead it only depends on your ranking of the race, and the size of the racetrack. I never played Nitro Kart so those tracks were awesome especially Electron Avenue, but I got so sick of grinding it after learning that's worth the most wampa coins, with Tiny Arena being 2nd, so yeah I got sick of that track too. Why doesn't the difficulty affect the reward value? Why aren't CTR tokens worth more? Why is there no incentive to do the CTR token challenges on the Nitro Kart and new stages other than just trying them out? Beating Oxide or Velo's ghost should easily be worth 500 tokens.
One thing I think they should do is put the 2x weekend in the singleplayer stuff too. They can keep the 5x for the first 30 minutes of online play. But that 2x weekend.
I genuinely advocate for a remake of Twinsanity for that very same reason of re-purposing incomplete or lower-quality titles. I genuinely enjoy the game, and it hurts to see how troubled its development cycle was and how much cut content there was. Cortex and Nina had very little time to shine despite having interesting enough gameplay, and there wasn't any real incentive towards grabbing every collectible. It had genuinely amazing music though, the a cappella soundtrack was both fun and very fitting.
I really value your opinion on games like crash and sly cooper, I’ve been thinking about making a video on why thieves in times sucks, and you’re videos on the 3 sly game were a great help recognizing what made those games fantastic in the first place
@@CZsWorld Activision tends to rushed their products. Look at how Nsane & CTRNF turned out quality wise compared to the originals. They're still amazing fundamentally but they have more bugs & glitches than the originals. Twinsanity was already the most glitchy Crash game due to being rushed, so unless Activision has a change of heart and not rush production of the games, then a Twinsanity remake may have 20x more glitches than the original one. A good Twinsanity Remake will need more care and time put into it, since it does have lots of cut content that would need much time to be implemented and executed well, and I just don't see Activision having the patients to do it especially for a game that doesn't have nearly as much nostalgia as Bash.
