Air testing The CTX 3030 capabilities of some of the most common targets we find on the beach. Air test consist of gold rings, silver rings, gold bracelets, Tiff & Co, platinum, Tiff & Co 18K, gold pendants, very thin gold necklace, coins, bottle caps etc.

Oh man.... that’s the truth the air test just gives us a more understanding of the machines capabilities. If a target is on edge or near iron, VDI changes drastically. Alright thanks for tuning in

Thanks I’m still testing out the iPhone 12 Pro Max, it ran real smooth through Final Cut Pro X editing software. I still have to mess around with advanced auto focus. I live in Alaska! I think the 7000 was modeled after this for gold. Except its a lot of $$$$$. I would like to concentrate mostly on GOLD nugs, silver, and native findings! What I like most is the LCD on this! I want it, but I'm uncertain of its ability to find high-end minerals? Not looking for tin cans or bullets. What say you? I haven't researched many other brands? I REALLY like this one, except for that one uncertainty. Must get wet is a have too. People's videos only show coin mode every time? Is silver mode for GOLD too? I do like it better than the 800!🤠
Frank Mons It could be iron based, sometimes on lower grade gold chains they’ll use that material with plating. Most likely it’s silver with plating, the beach is full of chains that will never be found. Let’s stick with the chunky gold rings👍👍👍
Ignore all numbers use your ears ,paid off for me ,I found the Roman licking dog hoard with ears only ,numbers were all over the place and target trace was all up and down the screen ,thought it was a deep horse shoe but I could hear a small sqeak in the background, that sqeak paid me £110k 🤘 love my CTX and swing that coil low and real slow
I’m not sure bottle caps read in all different ranges depends on the rust and shape. Also different modes will change the VDI. Thanks for watching have a great day
Thanks👍 Equinox doesn’t perform any better, this is a micro thin gold chain, Im posting another vid of the equinox on the same gold chain. Please post a vid of a thin gold chain at 6”, Equinox only hears the small clasp and pendant, just like the CTX, remember this is one of the hardest targets for most machines.
Metal Detecting with CZkidd. Hey Hey the equinox and CTX both struggle on this thin gold chain. The signal repeats only on the small clasp and pendant. The TDI BH pulse delay 10 hears the chain no problem. The Deus will hit this with no problem at depth. If the clasp was missing, along with the pendant this would of been lost forever. Garrett ATX would definitely pick this up also👍👍👍
@@JJJAMES444 That means I gotta do some more testing. I could never get the TDI to hit a chain unless clasp or links were large enough. I could never get it to hit a thin gold chain. Actually went to the beach one time with several sizes of chains and could not get feedback. Almost made me send it in for a check up. Had other TDI BH owners tell me that they walk over alot of chains as they are hard to pickup. Looking forward to your next vid, MD's too.
I hear you ground balance off, pulse delay 10 max sens. there is a break in the threshold. I agree though very tough target for a clean target response. I’m hoping the Fisher AQ will hit this target running at 7 uS. I hope this is the next P.I. beach machine, I’ve also been eyeballing the SDC2300
What does the first two numbers mean? the nox can hunt with single frequencies, can the 3030 do that ? Why did you not pick the deus as a favorite? I had the idea that on dry land the deus would be better than the nox.
I own both CTX and the Nox, CTX runs more frequencies also much more accurate VDI. 2 #’s are Ferrous and Non Ferrous with the Deus it’s a love and hate relationship, it’s a great relic machine dig it all jumpy VDI. You’re going to have to hunt with a Deus to understand what I mean about the Jumpy VDI
JJJAMES thanks. Yes I see you with a lot of different machines, I like that because it lets me see how other machines work. Your one of the few that seems to know all the machines other just use and don’t seem to really know them. U da man. I enjoy using different single frequencies on my 800. Think to many people are stuck on multi. Can the 3030 do single frequencies? Sorry bout being long winded (:

Your opinion as a user?! Is it worth buying minelab 3030?! I have aquinox 600, but I'm not very happy with it....
