Getting my 1968 cub cadet 104 garden tractor back to operating condition! There isn't much for videos on these old mowers so i figured id share my time working on mine! Subscribe and leave a like for more to come!

Thanks for posting. My 104 has sprung a fuel leak so I'll delete the bowl while I'm wrenching. Yours sounds good and idles nicely. I always wondered about the sound during startup on mine, but yours sounds the same. It's like Eor saying "blub. blub. blub." as opposed to newer starters that scream and crank.

What the hell is up with the muffler? Mine dumps on the other side. Definitely not stock.

Yeah I'm not sure how they are supposed to be, but will be changing it either way since she's rotten!

I completely done away with the sediment bowl. Ran rubber line and inline filter. Routed my line under the carb

I am considering doing the same, I have a leak where the fuel shutoff screw is and doing away with it would be the simplest solution
