thats just Sweet, wished i had a loader on my tractor, hard to get motivated to get the parts and make it, but would be well worth it like most the times :) great vid thanks for sharing it !
@12guagesniper thanks for the advice. thats interesting.im going to look at it and see if i can do something with the gov linkage. the engine is kind of shot but mabey it'll make a big difference.
If you change the govenor lincage you can get to kick in earlier and stop it from bogging so bad. This will help keep your power up and your hydraulic speed more in line.
@hammerdwn20. i used long hoses and sent them up the boom. at the end of the hose i threaded a 3/8s black pipe elbow. i sent it up the boom and lined the elbow up on the inside of the boom and then threaded in a 4 inch nipple from the out side.
Do you have any drawings for the Backhoe? Any list for supplies used? I built a loader for a Cub Cadet and would like to build the Backhoe. It looks like a professional backhoe. Way to go!
@ hammerdwn20 thank you for the comment. theres more vids to come. i never measured if the backhoe completes a 180 degree arc but i think it does. the next vid i try to post today of the loader working too. this backhoe took me and my little brother about six months to complete it. the boom is made of 1/4 thinck 3 inch by 5 inch tubing and the dipper stick is 3/16 3inch by 4 inch tubing. the bucket is 15 inches wide. its heavy enough that the tractor has a hard time spinning the tires.
@surrynet well... ill give you the breakout force of the dipper at the bucket teeth. has around 2000lbs. its a digging fool. no idea what the bucket breakout force is but i will say its more than the dippers breakout force.
@unvanquishableone what kind of backhoe attachment? do you mean the blueprints to build one or to buy an attachment from a company? my backhoe attachment cost around $2700. 2000 for hydraulics from northern tool and around 700 for the steel.
hey guys i went to mytractorforum. thanks jaydalebob and hammerdwn20. i get a vid of the backhoe digging in grass to show its true colors. the loader is too light to dig into the grass. at least mine anyway. to be honest the front would take a while to dig into the grass. theres not too much pushing power....yet. i have a project coming up.
@DetroitDieselguy671 how would you suggest i attempt to purchase the backhoe attatchments i all read have a cub 127 tractor. how much do you think it would run me?
Id say its better to buy a tag-along backhoe and just whack off the hitch then tool it on to the tractor, will include a pump and valve body and ive found them on craigslist for $2000
