Mine is a little new than you're's. But I found you're video very informational and helpful. I liked you time peace enough that when I ordered my new card I ordered a time peace like you're. Keep making informational videos brother man 👍👍👍👍👍
Check the travel on your throttle cable and make sure the choke is in-gauging, if it just has a stand alone choke pull, check its travel and make sure it is closing the choke, if this is not the problem pull the fuel line off carb and turn it over with the starter and see if fuel comes out of the fuel line. If choke works and fuel is flowing, feel the fuel shut off solenoid with your fingers while turning the key on, you should feel or hear a faint click indicating it is functioning. if all these add up pull carb and clean, if you are not able to do this yourself take it into your local lawn and garden repair shop and have them clean it. problem should be solved. By the way check for spark before any of the above.
Nice to see that you went to the dealer for free advice, the ordered the parts online instead of supporting your dealer. Don’t ask yourself what happened the day your dealer is forced to close
The deal more than up's the price by more than 5 times what you need to pay. The deal is the problem. I could see them maybe dumbling the price for the convenience of having it on hand but 5 or even 6 time the original piece. Just shut up and think . May be you should chew on you're words before you just spit them out. But how am I. I don't have a degree in fixing stooped. But I can say this ( I have done so much with so little -- that I am qualified to do nothing with anything)
Im having the same issue. But mine hasn't been driven in 3 years. I cleaned the plug off. My battery is dead so Im jump starting it. I replaced the gas filter. The oil looks new. I wonder did the carburetor look damaged or worn in any way. I did drain all the gas out of it before I stored mine.
If you left gas in the tank of bowl of the card it could have turned to like a really black almost a thick old tiep of gunk and clogged you're card. If it where me I would take you're card off and then take you're card apart and see what is going on in side of it could just need a good cleaning. A can of brake cleaner and a toothpick and some qutips can do a lot for and ol card that was left with gas in it. I would try that first. Because careful when you take that card and bowl a part that the gasket doesn't tar and there's no need to take the gasket off just leave it they aren't easy to put back on. Clean it really really good an try that. If that doesn't work for you look online for a new one then. Feal free to hit me up if you get stuck
Hello there, I am thinking about buying a Cub Cadet just like yours, LT1042, they are asking $550 and it looks very well kept, I haven't ride it yet; with the experience you have with this machine, would you recommend this tractor as a good buy? Thank you
Check the hours on the machine. mine has one hundred and fifty for 5 yrs old but i havent used it in the last 3. So my yard is 3/4 acre. Thick grass St. Augustine. Mow avg once a week. n45 to 55 min mow each time.
Don’t buy a Cub Cadet, it’s junk! I am on my second new Cub mower, and there is always something wrong, either the belts keep on breaking or something else fails .
Would it been cheeper to check the float and clean out the jets then buying a new carb?? Who said its the carb fine clean it over time you get dirt and jets that need cleaned... no need to blow money for a new carburetor they wanted your money...I say it needed cleaning or the backfire electric skateboard may just be bad.....
I have a club cadett rideing mower with the battery under the seat is it still a fuse be hind the dash I believe mine is a 1720 can't get no click no lights what do you think
