Dude! For someone struggling for air, you are way full of piss and vinegar and in fine fettle! Not only did I learn a little, I also helped by kibitzing when it was needed. Glad you let us participate. Thanks for so many great belly laughs, brother. ❤️👍🔧
Since I’ve become interested in ZT’s that one is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Something dirt cheap or free, requiring sweat equity to restore and flip.
Zero Turns are extremely hot in my area, they definitely bring the big bucks 👍🏻 i’m just usually hesitant to spend money on one without driving it first due to the high cost of Hydro units
Very interesting video. But, I find that you have missed a very important feature of maintenance. And changing its oil. What is it? By now you figured out you need to do some maintenance on the hydros. All of the wheel bearing should be lubricated as well. Hopefully this idea you can use on your next video. Hope you're feeling better from the pneumonia. I know someone who nearly died from it at age 51, And he was living alone in an apartment. It's called the silent killer. But I am glad to hear you are on the mend. Don't push yourself too hard is my advice. And do take care.
You are 100% correct as far as that being an important part of Zero Turn maintenance in general, however, this is a homeowner grade machine that these hydros are “non-serviceable” if I wanted to change the fluid, I would have to disassemble them, which is a shame. on my Husqvarna Zero Turn each one actually has its own spin on filter, which is fantastic in my opinion because like you said it is very important to keep the fluid clean and full 👍🏻
@@hester781 Now, Wouldn't it be interesting if a smart mechanic like you could figure out a way to make the hydros so that you can change the oil, Perhaps by drilling and tapping a couple of holes; One at the bottom and one at the top of each hydro? A lot of people would benefit from that smart modification including your followers...
@@frankie7508 as a matter of fact, tuff torque the people who make many of these hydros do have a kit and instructions on where to drill and tap holes for draining them. They only make them for certain models, but still definitely a nice upgrade for anyone who plans on keeping there Mower running strong 👍🏻
Exciting video! Just when you think you've solved the problems, a new one pops up! In the end, though, it looks like a serviceable mower was had for a good price. Thanks!
Nice job Hester, it was fun to watch, I was just glad you didn't get too far away and it cut off on you. It's always fun dragging them back to the shop. 🤣👍
