I’m glad they replaced the motor. There is nothing worse than this happening. Keep up the good work;). People watch these if u get a tripod and show your work.
@@coconutjo9780did sharpening the blades help it cut better? I was looking to get the ZT1 46” due to all the hills and trees in my yard. Semper Fidelis, Brother.
Sorry you’re having such bad luck with yours. My cub cadet has been good for me. Actually better than I had expected. No issues whatsoever. Have you had anymore issues since u got it back?
That’s awesome! I wanted to have the same testimony but that wasn’t the case, I was very disappointed. Kawasaki did eventually install a new engine but 2 years later I’m still waiting on Cub to send me a check for $100 to partially cover my rental expenses. Best Wishes with yours, I hope it works well for many years to come!! Thanks for your comment!
That’s great! I was thinking and hoping that I would have the same testimony after 3 years but sadly that was not my outcome. Solid build and frame but
I have a Cub Cadet RZT 42 inch with a Honda engine. It has been trouble free. Kawasaki makes good engines too. You just got a lemon. I am glad that Kawasaki stepped up and treated you right! Good luck!
I hate that it was in the shop for longer than it worked somewhat right but I’ll give props to Kawasaki for stepping up with the new engine at 0 cost! Thanks for watching!!
I've own three cub cadet rzt and two tanks , all of them have been very reliable . no issues with the rzt, my first tank commercial lasted 11 years, the second is 8 years with a fuel delivery problem as the tanks get low ,but very reliable. kawasaki engine has been very good
@@jamesjohnson7720 I think I probably got a dude or one built on a Friday. I performed a lot research before deciding to go with a Cub but things happen sometimes.
You got a lemon. My ZT1 54" with the 24HP Kohler is fantastic. Good to hear that the Kawa folks are trying to make it right for you. Thank you for your service. Semper Fi.
Thanks! Semper Fi! The shop said mine was probably assembled on a Monday or Friday lol. But around 4 months to get it back. Oh well, it’s going up for sale now. Thanks for watching!!
The Deck is the first thing to look at. Thickness and how the Deck is supsended for leveling. Glad to read your Cadet is back home. Enjoyed your content
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your mower. I'm sure it won't make you feel any better about it, but for the benefit of others with earlier comments expressing concern their experience may also be eventually negative, I will offer mine. I purchased the exact same model (Home Depot) spring 2023 to replace a 42" cut Craftsman (made by Cub Cadet) lawn tractor that wasn't really a good match for the bigger lawn at my new home. I mowed my "new" 1.5 acre lawn 37 times that entire summer and into the fall and so far nine times this year with no significant issues at all. The Kawasaki engine is impressive, it cuts well, and it's easy to handle and service. I wish it had an hour meter like my Craftsman did, but it's not hard to keep notes on things, so that's not a big deal. All in all, I'm totally pleased with it. I'd recommend one to my best friend, and I'd buy another in a heartbeat.
That’s great that it’s going good for you and for me it’s all good! You win some You lose some but it’s all about how one responds to the adversities! Man, 37 times in one calendar year, you must about every 4-5 days or live around South Florida lol! Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!!
I picked up my ZT1-50 at Home Depot in spring '23 also, my first Zero Turn, primarily because of the Kawa engine. Added an optional hour meter that Cub Cadet sells for retrofit, so there's that. Still on the learning curve. I've now added the seat-spring mod available for about $200, and plan to add a back&forth seat adjustment, and maybe arm rests. ZT1 hydro trannies are designed to be non-serviceable at the owner level (you gotta go to a ZT2 to get that feature), but there are RU-vid videos on how to do that as a DIY. My wife loves it.
Get a Bad Boy Maverick or better, do a check to make sure all the screws and bolts are tight (common issue), and enjoy. You already got a taste of the Bad Boy quality. The strongest made decks is what sold me. I've done commercial mowing for 24 years. The decks don't bend when you hit something like the exmarks do and the blades don't bend hitting hidden roots like the Husqvarnas do. I've hit cement that was hidden in the grass, but sticking up enough to hit, with exmark and have had to bend the deck back out away from the blades. I've also hit cypress trees knobs with Husqvarna and had to go buy new blades. I've ran my Bad Boy into a chunk of cement and only chipped the paint. Ran over 2-3" thick sticks and pulverized them. These Bad Boys are tougher for sure, but are still assembled by typical people. So inspect the screws and bolts cause sometimes they forget to go back and tighten. Starting my third season with my Bad Boy doing 32 yards. Found 3 bolts loose when I first got it. Tightened those bolts up, keep up with routine maintenance and has been a better investment for me than the exmarks were for my ex-boss😅.
@@coconutjo9780 my ex-boss got a Bad Boy outlaw after I quit. He said he couldn't keep the Exmarks going. But I think it's funny how he bought second hand equipment and always expected me to be a mechanic and labor hand to keep them going and getting the work done.
Thanks for watching. Cub does have some of the highest ratings for residential movers, maybe I just got a dud. Whatever you get make sure it has a great return policy for 30 days or so and use it as much as you want to make sure it lives up to what you’re paying for! And a good engine or drivetrain warranty. Kawasaki did finally replace the engine $0. Good luck!
I got a gravely hd 52 with a Kohler 25 horse and the cut is really clean and has more than enough power and is built like a tank. I cut roughly 10 acres between my 3 properties and I am beyond pleased with it
@Coconut Jo I went to a dealer and you can find the good used ones for half off dang near only a hundred hours but the HD series is the entry level more less with commercial grade rear end and other components without getting the commercial level. If that makes sense but I could send some picks of where I mowed my grandparents rental house that was neglected it was a hay field it seemed like and dang near one pass was a clean cut had to go over another time just to get a few stragglers and spread all the clippings
@@kennycook-uy8hv Kawasaki finally replaced the engine, then I sold it the following week. If I ever get another I’m thinking of JD as my first option! Thanks for watching and for your comments!! Best wishes and long life for your Deere!
I won a zt 54” in a raffle drawing last year and it has been a good one so far. The only thing I’ve ever won in my life and I’m happy with mine so far. It has the Koehler engine and the fabricated deck. I wouldn’t have bought one myself. I gave my old 30” rear engine to my son when I got this cub cadet. It’s way larger than I actually needed but I can cut my yard in less than 10 minutes with it so I can’t complain lol
Oh Crap! I just bought one of these, only 42" deck, but it cuts great so far! I did put an hour meter on it, but it was discounted to $2400. Only have 8 hrs on it cause it's hotter than Hades right now and nothing has grown in a week! Brown yards for as far as you can see! Hope it's better for you now!
I heard that there’s a major early heatwave going in the states right now. The Cub that I bought had great reviews, so I hope your experience is the total opposite of mine!! Best wishes and stay hydrated!!!
My experience with Kohler was disgusting. Fortunately, the retailer stepped in and took the mower back. This was a Cub Cadet XT1. I bought my Husqvarna from the same dealer.
@@coconutjo9780 So far the Husqvarna has been much better. A couple of minor issues. Both covered under warranty. I did upgrade to a commercial Donaldson air filter. With all the dust here in southwestern Louisiana, it is a must have.
July 24 2023 just purchased zero turn CadeT Ultima ZT1 50 inch deck with steering wheel and 23 hp Kohler and it’s phenomenal machine. I have 35 degree slopes on 15.5 acres of Brush and tall 5’ grass and it’s a goat up, down, sideways and never quits. Steering wheel activates rear traction easing maneuvering Sorry you had a problem but I’ve tried them all and Cadet rules!
That thing sounds amazing!!! I see it’s brand spanking new, I would be interested in a review or update after a year or two. Thanks for your comment and for watching! And best wishes!!
I have a cub cadet Zt1 mower that I enjoy using I just wish it was faster. I mow about 5 acres a week with it just my personal property. It’s really asking a lot from it. These are not commercial zero turns and it always makes me chuckle when people buy them to mow several lawns and aren’t happy with them. I’m currently looking to sell mine for a new scag or spartan, just because they will mow twice as quickly saving me time and cutting my hour usage. For the small home owner these Zt1 mowers are a great cost affordable option but definitely should not be used in any type of business setting.
I totally understand. I bought it to cut my personal 3 leveled acres which isn’t a problem for a mower ZT1 “if everything works as it should”. Best wishes on the sell and future purchase!!
You just got a lemon my man. Been in manufacturing all my life and now retired and trust me if one can find out what day a product is made during the week you can save yourself a ton of problems. Yes I said what day of the week and the best day things get built are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursdays are ok but Mondays and Fridays are not for obvious reasons.
I just bought one yesterday. It’s already in scraping the bottom of the barrel condition aesthetically. Brand new from the home Dumpot. It’s the last 50 they have for the year. My wife got involved. I was going to get the 60. It looked great (the 60 did). But I just said all of that because I’m just not a complainer either. I generally keep tools that perform subpar and just upgrade. But this purchase is too much to not be satisfied. I’ll give it right back to them this time. Right after I get all these leaves up in October and November. Ayche, I want a grasshopper anyway.
I have the same troy push mower.. it sits outside all year. I've never change the oil. A bit of starting fluid at start of spring, and it's good! I've had it 10+ years 👍
Big box store mowers are just that . Buying from an actual dealer that has a shop gets my vote all day long. Cub cadet paid good money to get the reviews they did
It seems like they did! I loved the build quality of my ZT1 50 but a terrible uneven cut from the start and then a blown motor within a few months! Smh
😅 I have a ZT1 50INCH rides good cut good. Only recommendation is when cutting high blades of grass doing commercial work, you will have some blades so long they will lay down close to the ground. When you see blades sticking back up, go in reverse to catch it at the top. If it's not riding fast enough, adjust your governor 😂
I have the same mower for 6 seasons with over 120 hours on it and have had zero problems! It cuts fine and has an hour meter. I can’t figure out why your mower cuts poorly unless there is a problem with one of the spindles or blades!
What each distributor should do before they send a rider out the door is “Level” the deck. There’s a big reason why many mower owners have some problems. It doesn’t take much, and it’s easy to do. Sometimes what looks like a deal isn’t, because blades are just crap compared to higher priced machines. I’ve had a Kioti 54” and have 160 hrs on it and only sharpened the blades Once, and it cuts perfect. Even going thru 8” + grass. One trick is Lots of RPM’s. One more thing, there’s not one zero turn that gets great gas mileage. They all like the gas. Just something you deal with to use those machines.
Thanks for the comment. I didn’t have a problem with the gas mileage but a leveled deck and a great cut is what I expected from a brand new mower. I’ve never heard of Kioti before.
That’s great! I hear Hustlers are great machines! My Cub that I had was disappointing. Outside of the Kawasaki engine failure, the cut was horrible, even with good blades.
Your right things go wrong sometimes with mowers. Thanks for showing and telling go eat and have a great day, cause that’s what’s best even when bad things happen. Don’t know when but I am going to buy my first zero turn. and I was in the ARMY and I am 66 years old bad luck with jobs. but thankful for what I do got, so thank of the good not bad. Don’t put to much on the table cause you’re better off thanks for telling showing see ya next time see ya bye.
I like my cub cadet 50 in deck zero turn with a steering wheel. But 1 thing I heard you say was the way yours cuts. When I picked mine up at the dealer they made mentioned about the deck in how they set it up to cut. Level may be ok. But you want it too be slightly lower in the front to get the best cut. If its slightly lower in the back you will need to cut a second time cause it wont cut all the grass like it should. They set it all up for me before I got there to pick it up. But like you I seen all the reviews out there on the cub cadet zero turn and every one was good. But when you said how yours cut I had the light bulb go off in my head. Maybe this helps you if your still have it. And a BIG THANK YOU for your SERVICE.
Thanks for your response and insight! This is the first time I’ve heard anyone mention this, and of course at the big box stores they are pretty much just cashiers to what people want to buy. I’ve heard people mention to make sure the deck is properly set, which the shop said that it was good but the cut quality was still the same after the shop replaced the engine. The blades were sharpened as well. Although I sold it back in October It still baffles me today!
I just got my mower yesterday. Thats why it is still fresh in the old memory bank lol. I had seen in one of the you tube videos where one guy mentioned to let some air out of the rear tires to help in damping the ride a bit. Like a pound or two just so on a rough yard doesnt beat you up. When I told this to the salesman at the dealer he mentioned that the mower was set up with everything set to mow correct. The deck set right along with the air presser in the tires. I cant say hes right or wrong but makes some sense. Like letting more air out of one rear tire then the other would cause the mower to mow uneven. This is what he told me. Just pasting this on. I seen where you dont have it any more but maybe down the road it may come in handy again enjoy this veterns day weekend and thank you for your service.
Thanks for this comment. I used one today for the first time by a friend and noticed that I had to go over the same area twice to get it to cut. I’ll check the level of the blade and tire pressure next time I use it.
I feel your pain! I bought one on Sunday and returned it on Monday. It cut like crap and it was really loud. Also it kept pulling to the left no matter what i did.
My neighbor bought at the end of last season. His wife is not happy with the cut. She said the Snapper ZTR they had before cut better. I have a Husqvarna z254f. When the grass is tall, I make the first pass on the high setting. The second pass on two or three. On the first pass I see weeds that are partially cut. The second pass usually take care of those. Are these weekly cuts you are doing? Most of mine are bi-weekly.
I agree with you. I bought a new cub xt2 think it was a little over 3000. Bought may of 2023. Less than 10 hours and having trouble backing up so slow I can’t get in my garage. Was told by local cub dealer to blow out under deck. Well that is a pain I am almost 80 years old and don’t want to get down on the ground to blow ipout grass every time I mow. By the way the grass is not wet or damp. Not sure what to do. Very frustrated. If I tradecitvwhat brand to I get and I am sire I will lose over $100
That’s very unfortunate and I know it is extremely frustrating! Everyone always say to go with the more expensive commercial type mowers but for personal usage I’d probably go with Toro or John Deer if you have a dealership close to you. Good luck! I lost out around $1000.
Had my 54' ZT1 since November 2020 and only thing happened to me was the oil was leaking out and lost speed movement power. I changed the oil and new oil filter and its been good. This was the month of May. Now its June 28, 2023.
thats the problem with big box stores. warranty work is terrible and long wait times. a local dealer would've had your mower ready 3 weeks at the latest
I have a zt1-42 and a zt2-50. Both have been great machines. Did you get yours at a dealer or a big box store? I buy at a dealer so I get better service if I need it.
I got a 21 in Toro walk-behind self-propelled had it for 3 years now always starts on the first or second. I have the oil overfilled. Bought a 54-in Cub Cadet a week ago and I noticed I had to cut it twice because it left a lot of grass clippings but it looks beautiful after its cut with beautiful lines
Do you still have your Cub, I think I may have found the problem, I used to be a welder and a Fab guy on train cars. I think its the Deck ( Underneath) they have metal welded all except for where the 3 blades are. But are you still having any issues with your Cub, I just bought 1 and IM NOT HAPPY WITH THE CUTS. 2 OR 3 Times to go over is NOT OK, !!!
I had a 3 stage cub cadet snowblower and it was horrible. I broke at least one shear pin on the auger every time i used it. The unit was poorly designed. Customer service suggested i go slower or use it on lighter snow, imagine that? I would never buy a cub cadet anything anymore.
Did you replace the stock blade when you got it and make it nice and sharp? Blade speed is relative, the blade is what creates air lift and blows it out the shoot. Blades make more of a difference than the deck. I had no issues after installing 8Ten blades on my LAWA ZT1 and I've been mowing like 30 inch high natural prairie grass that's never been mowed. It takes a few extra passes but that's expected. Mowing my planted Kentucky Bluegrass lawn, it's perfect. That was the first thing I did. Then removed the pully guards.
I have a 2022 zt1 54 it cuts amazong leaves awesome beautiful stripes and leaves no grass standing, i have the kohler 7000 series easy to maintain, im wondering if you have a deck leveling issue thats causing that, your mower should mow circles around yoir neighborhood
I expected to have the same experience that you are having and to cut at least as good as my old neighbor’s. I could have been an deck issue but I’m not sure why the Kawasaki engine detonated with less 20 hours.
APPRECIATE YOUR VIDEO. TRY USING AN X-BLADE SET UP. USED A HIGH LIFT WITH A GATOR BLADE. MY CUB IS 28 YEARS OLD... DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THE USE TO. 2165 BRIGGS AND 2185 KOHLER. GOOD LUCK AND THANKS AGAIN.
Thanks for the advice. I sold the cub but you’re right they don’t make nearly anything like they used to!! My parents neighbor has a 46 inch Toro timecutter that’s around 20 years old and it’s still out there slanging grass and producing a beautiful yard. Wow 28 years 🫡
I've got a ZT1 42" cub with 8 hours on it. It runs great and cuts great. Only issue I had was they ship it to you on a crate. Unfortunately for me, the person who boxed her in the crate put a staple through the rear right tire. Needless to say, cub shipped me a new tire, and I had to pay the mounting fee. Other than that, great ZT.
@@jay784us2 that’s a little unfortunate but it could’ve worse. Cub has very good reviews for the most part and I hope you have good luck with it for many years to come! Was the meter a plug and play situation? Thanks for sharing your experience!
@@coconutjo9780 Yes, the hour meter was very easy to install and plug and play. Cub already has the connection for the meter installed, they should just manufacture it installed and charge the difference IMO. There are videos on RU-vid to help if needed.
One of the reasons why that Moore is leaving grass clippings everywhere is because you bought a residential more and club cadet is not a very good mower. I wouldn't recommend them and particularly for commercial use. They don't have our meters on them. You don't know when the service them. You would have been better off to purchase a Husqvarna which is an excellent mower, but I just purchased a new John Deere and I said that I wouldn't. They're expensive but they're worth the money they have. A on demand mulching kit. They have blowers on them. They're not cheap but they do a beautiful cut.
I purchased the 50 cub only to cut my own personal yards. It should’ve been no problems for it to only 1 yard per day. I’m thinking about JD if there’s a next time, they have a dealership 5 miles from me. I mean where I was.
@Coconut Jo Thanks. I went to local JD yesterday here in Jacksonville. I think that is what I am going with also. I only have an acre so looking at the 42 or 48 zero turn.
@Coconut Jo ok thank you for the heads up. I definitely know I want to stay away from the single cylinder Briggs and Stratton. Been looking at the 48 in Z330R with Kawasaki engine. Not sure yet.
I bought a Cub Cadet ZT2 54 brand new and after 20 hours it was cutting the same way you described…..I took it in and the dealer told me the deck was too dirty underneath and the blades were dull…I was also hearing a grinding noise in the left spindle. The dealer claimed nothing was wrong and sent me on my way. However I have not heard the grinding since. I believe the changed the spindle but didn’t want to tell me because I told them it being dirty was bull. I still have small problems with the cut but nothing like before. I hope this helps.
If you compare what you get from Cub Cadet and John Deere vs other companies like Ariens/Gravely, Bad Boy, Simplicity, Husqvarna, you get much more like fabricated decks for the same price. With Cub, you get a stamped deck with an almost $4,000 investment. It’s insane!
I received my first Cub Cadet mower today. I was missing the hardware to attach the steering wheel, but that was not important. I start the pto/blades and hear bad noises everywhere... 1 of the blades was hitting the fabricated deck. ZTS1-46". I removed the deck and inspected everything I could see, it all looked good. I took out the die-grinder and took 1/8" off both sides of the blade that was hitting. I hope this is the only repair... Not a great start to what I thought was a premium residential mower.
Just curious now how you feel about it. I just bought the same mower you have and mowed with it for the first time today. My old Cub Cadet lasted 19 yrs. and I would still be mowing with it if the rear hydraulic hadn't failed to the point of not me being able to finish mowing my yard. Hope I don't have the problems you had.
I sold it shortly after they replaced the engine. The cut quality was still horrendous but hopefully there was an easy fix for that. I loved the sturdy build, the big tires and head lights. A hour meter would’ve been a nice standard feature. I hope your cub serves you well!! Thanks for watching!
@@coconutjo9780 yes they do 4 years 0 interest have the Kawasaki engines idk @coconut jo I been working for company's running Exmark my entire career that's what I want but there double the $$$ are u feeling any better about ur Cub?

That would definitely be irritating to get a brand-new mower and it leaving streaks! The Kawasaki engine is usually a reliable engine so you are really having some bad luck ,hopefully things improve quickly for you
My 2004 Cub Cadet ZTR (22 HP Briggs) always left streaks from the middle blade any time the RPMs and blade top speeds dropped even slightly. Even if blades were freshly sharpened, didn't matter. Had that mower 15 years and hated every minute of ownership. It seemed so underpowered. We bought a good used 60" Dixie Chopper Classic with under 200 hours. That mower does everything well, including shredding leaves in the fall into leaf powder. We took our time to find a good used commercial mower instead of buying a new residential ZTR. For us that was a better choice than any new model we could find on the market, when we finally grew weary of the Cub's misgivings.
Dig your vid...sorry you had to go though that sir....I still want one, I'm 63 on disability and my wife has stage 4 lung cancer but I have to make some money some how, I can sit good so why not mow right? I love to mow and the Cub is the only one I can afford right now, I will get it and make some vids too if they don't knock me off my disability for doing it.
Deck size doesn’t make it commercial grade bud. The build quality and motor along with hydros are what make it commercial grade. A residential has smaller engines and hydro pumps on it compared to a commercial grade mower. There’s commercial mowers with 38” decks but it’s all beefed up with a big heavy duty motor and pumps along with a super sturdy frame. That mower you got probably got cheaped out on when building or just a bad batch came out. I’ve personally had a exmark laxer z that ran without any issues for years then got a brand new laser z with red tech and had nothing but problems with it so the dealer swapped it out for another mower, exact same model and year but a bit older from the time it was built and it hasn’t gave me a single problem since we left the dealer. So probably just a bad batch of mowers that I had bought one out of but still a great company to work with
I got the SAME mower , started a small buz. With lawn care. And im NOT happy with how it cuts Either. But i think i know the Problem, im going to take the Deck off and im going to Cut out Alot of the BS metal they have under the deck, its only open for the 3 blades. And it has all the other Space with Metal that can and Does, fold grass and it doesnt get into the blades. So im going to OPEN up the Under Deck. And im going to send you a review of how it cuts After. But i now know why it spits out SO MUCH GRASS AND CLUMPS UP, idk why Cub thinks this is a good design, but its why they dont cut like a John Deer. Or Toro. Or like the More expensive Mowers. Its all in how the deck is made UNDER , i will be cutting out metal, and if i have to weld some metal in the inside to keep it strong i will , but i agree with yout video 100% im not happy with my cuts either. compared to other lawn mowers from the neighbors , im same boat as you, !!! But question i have for you, what mower did you end up with and do OTHER Mowers put down a better cut without So much clippings ???? Ty sir , 👍🍻
You need to call cub dealer. I would never buy a residential more for cutting yards for a living. @@coconutjo9780, please drop a video of the uneven cuts you are experiencing. I rotate 3 sets of blades and get good results every time unless I slack on sharpening them. I search for ZT1 videos so it's important that I see accurate information. I have more faith in those videos that show evidence of the problems rather than just outlining them with words and no proof. I know these units aren't perfect and I know yours is low on the hours but it only takes one hard root or a rock to booger up even newer blades.
@@KenWilmes the cut isn’t really uneven, it leaves quite a bit of standing blades of grass on every pass and this has been from day one. I even had them sharpened at around 6 hours, yet still no luck.
I have noticed at least one variety of pasture grass that occasionally leaves stragglers behind in one section of my pasture. I wonder if you might have this same type of growth? It is a very thin-stalked almost wheat like plant. Not bladed like most grasses.
I think Kohler engines are wat better myself ,I have a craftsman 42" zero turn I bought from lowes I also bought the extended warranty you get 20% off maintenance items such as oil blades filters ex ,I've had it for 2 yrs ive no issues, all the zero turns like Toro, cub and craftsman the frames are made all by the same company stay away from mowers with plastic transaxles such as the green pieces of junk I hate them anyway so yeah another thing you should only get the mower that's good for you not to show off cun cadets to me isnt a good machine I've know people that have purchased them and they have nothing but issues and mostly with the engines anyway that's my take on mowers but I haven't had any problems yet and if I do I've the extended warranty so I'm safe as far aw that goes anyway stay safe
@@coconutjo9780 how many yards do you cut , I was going get a cub cadet 42" myself the only reason I didnt I'm like a mile away from lowes my wife and went to lowes and I looked at what they had and decided to get the craftsman 42" inch zero turn I think the model is z5200 why they call the model that I dont know and another reason i was able to purchase it was my mother passed away and my sister and i were beneficiaries on her ira so we each recieved half i used most of the money towards paying my house off and the some for my mower it was I believe 3500 i think the cub cadet 42" is the same price wise I cant believe john Deere's mowers have a plastic transaxle that turned me away from them at a fast pace that will never last ,theres only one thing I dont like about my mower is the front wheel does have grease fitting on it for grease the place there on the frame where the bolts go through that's just a plastic bushing in sure on other mowers it is as well but they should put metal bearings in that I think ,they will do anything to save a dollar i guess, as far as frames i believe they are all made by the same company as well my frame is big i think the cub cadet is the same size they are square where mine is rounded ,to me if someone is going to spend that kind of money on a mower I think the workmanship should be good that's for sure and inside alot of these engines they have plastic cam gears and compression controls just ridiculous they definitely need to be made of metal but anyway stay safe and god bless hope everything works out for you with that mower problem
@@coconutjo9780 I think just a residential mower would be ok for that , I do my yard which is 5 acres and then I do my mother n laws which is roughly 1/2 acre and my wifes aunt my mother n laws sister ,my craftsman 42" zero turn I have does great we are all on the same property I get everything done in just about an hour minus trimming so yeah it does great , yeah the Kawasaki engines I've heard a few bad things about but at least they replaced it ,but it really doesn't matter the brand of mower I really think all these mower manufacturers could do things better plastic parts even plastic internal engine parts just are not the way to go , my father had one of those older lawn boy push mowers hes passed away and my mother as well I still have that old mower just to have and back then things were made great heavy duty metal good stuff now days too many corners cut to save money if they things like they used to I guess they would be out of business because never would thing fail like they do now , anyway good talking with you stay safe and god bless
I’m not sure if the warranty states anything about “commercial” use, but I personally own the 8 properties that I was cutting and no others. Vacant lots 👌👍. Even if used commercially I would expect that it should go well over a handful of hours without any issues, and talking about cutting regular residential yards nothing crazy. Thanks for watching and your comment!
