Happy 4th of July! Translation note: The excerpt from Che to Fidel is from Che's farewell speech to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in 1965. Year recorded: 1970 Image: OSPAAAL poster "World Solidarity With CUBA".
@@c0dement depends on the period, until 72 yes, then we switched to a war economy because we had the whole world against us, that's why many Albanians hate the period, because many were born during war time, but before 72 we had our first economic golden age
@@ScimmiaZombie No, that is not a "Banda Bassotti", rather "Canzoniere Internazionale" also an Italian band, the compilation is "Canta Cuba Libre" from 1972 - warmly recommended if you like such kind of music.
@@SpinoAdri2001 Yes. For now it is. But there's time and we'll have to see if then can go through with the ban, since the DKP will obviously fight against it.
I am half peruvian and half german, and I produced a solidarity video for german Communist party in german (with spanish subtitles) here on my RU-vid channel. Maybe you want to watch it? Also solidarity with Cuba!
Our neoliberal overlords have unfortunately seemed to taken a sour turn in relation to Cuba in canada. Trudeau not even meeting the bare minimum that his dad met with cuba but I want to let the people of Cuba know, many in canada want that embargo out and the yanks to simmer down. Solidarity from Van 🇨🇦❤🇨🇺
@@DubABattery The "compass" is bs and can't be applied to actual ideologies, rather to an individual. And be honest, MLs and Anarchists are the 2 biggest sectors of the left, so chances are any actual leftist will follow either Anarchism and Anarchist Ideologies or Marxism-Leninism and Marxist-Leninist ideologies.
@@h3nder Well in that case you are a Nazi.Bc if the left is extreme, then so is the right. Nazism Fascism And Racism are only descriptions of right wing :)
As an American, the biggest step in my transition to Marxism was learning how literally everything I learned about Fidel was a complete lie. And now that I've RE-studied all the supposed "authoritarian communist dictators"... Fidel is still my favorite ❤️🔥 Congratulations to Cuba on your latest advancement, Código de Familia! Solidaridad! ✊
@@pierrrp6573 everywhere on earth people are suffering, including in the US. But in Cuba people are far better off than they would be if the Revolution had not happened. And remember that on of the main reasons Cuba's economy is struggling is because of the american embargo.
@@michelartois807 What about the blockade that's destroying there economy? And the large pro Cuban protesters, I think the main reason for people leaving the country, and Cuba becoming more Authoritarian is because of the blockade

@@hispalismapping155 I have. First, let me tell you, i am not big supporter of communism, second, some people lived under poverty during that time because they were working against the country or maybe their families did crimes during that time. But my family lived better during that time, today pensions are less than 100 euros, in Tito's era my great grandfather had pension of 56 thousand dinars or 700 german marks.
Thanks for helping us out in Canada with your excellent health care professionals Cuba. Obviously the spirit of socialism has served your people well. It shows in their dedication to helping those in need world wide. Long Live Cuba Long Live Castro Long Live the Revolution.
You should come live a few years and experience first hand how well communism and oppression has not served us. How we produce nothing because we profit nothing from the fruits of our hard work and labor thanks to the oppressive and corrupt policies of this dictatorship. How this system has stagnated a once thriving first world economy to a desperate third world economy. We have done it all on our own, thanks to this leftist regime. The embargo is a joke, we violate it every day. We just produce nothing so we have next to nothing to sell on international markets to pay for what we buy. We squander international loans on military equipment from anyone who will sell it to us to spread communism in South America, Africa, Asia, anywhere that is stupid enough to let us come help them establish an equally failing leftist government system. Yes I am a genuine Cuba and this is the truth of what we have been living for over 6 decades. Keep giving this regime Kudos while they kill us, our blood is on their hands and on yours.
@@jean-claudelol563 Don't you vote in your local elections? I'm not saying what you have is ideal, but in the face of great animosity what your people have accomplished with their freedom from imperialist forces is astounding to say the least. No state is a better state. But in "the West", we have little real freedom. We are served an election every 4 years, but the capitalist class holds the reigns. Every day more and more workers have their needs no longer met, while being essentially brainwashed into believing that what they need is money, no matter who they hurt to get it.
@@jean-claudelol563 I have lived in three western nations. All "democratic". It sounds like our political systems function in a similar manner, except a select percentage of the population is permitted to vote come election day for a few different guys selected by a parties members. The USA, Great Britain, Canada all have similar social illnesses that we are starting to realize are a result of unfettered capitalism. To add to that we are increasingly aware our supposed prosperity has come at great cost to others around the world, which to be honest does have a psychological/emotional effect on any empathetic individual. I suspect within the coming decade we are going to see some radical changes. What we have in the west is simply unsustainable.
@@RDRF_SB13 You think this dictatorship is not involved in active imperialism? It uses any international loans provided by the EU, UN and others to buy military equipment from anyone who will sell it to this dictatorship. They use that money and equipment to keep the state run, state owned military & police happy & loyal and keep themselves in power. They use the rest of it to help stir up revolutions in South America, Africa, Asia, anywhere that is stupid enough to let us come in and help them establish an equally dysfunctional and oppressive political & economic system. This happens to this day, in a half dozen countries on any given time. Go to any of these south American countries currently under leftists regimes or on the verge of a leftist take over and you will find Cuban troops and Cuban advisors there guiding them. They draft even our civilian doctors and engineers against their will and send them to those countries to help those revolutions succeed with a lot of empty promises.
Cuba was already joined China belt and road initiative, we only need to wait for China to surpass the US as the main global economy and the Yuan to be an alternative to the Dollar, once this happen Cuba economy may grow better.
@@theman531 184 countries voted for stopping us blockade on Cuba. But I'm afraid this is not a victory. UN will ask America to stop it but I think America won't do it.
Che is Argentinian not Cuban. But that’s what being a communist is all about. We fight for the liberation of all countries and all peoples of this world. Not just the one we happened to be born in.
@Dastardly1cuba was in a dictatorship since the revolution... i dont think that be an dictator to your own country is very partioric, anyways... Viva la libertad carajo! 🇦🇷
Cuba comrade is a real warrior of fighting against USA imperialism all the time. There will be more and more organizations and countries to fight against USA sanctions. I hope it could be much easier for our goods to be transported to Cuba in the coming days……

I looked up the Chechen-Ingush ASSR anthem, and I found this, which I _think_ is a full album from the area of Soviet-era songs (starting with the anthem). Some of them might not be political, but besides the anthem one of them is called "Ingush song about Lenin". I'm just going off the titles, though. /watch?v=w36djiNRGwI edit: Also one called Song about Khanpasha Nuradilov, who was a Chechen Hero of the Soviet Union who died at Stalingrad.
