Hola, has puesto al revés lo de las monedas. El CUC es el peso convertible, y el CUP es el peso cubano.

So for the visa, what did you put for the reason to visit since they ask you when you buy your ticket. Do you put Support the people? Can you explain me that? I'm a lil confused on that.
@GirlwithDrive
@GirlwithDrive 6 лет назад
Maria Correa Hi Maria! I put educational. A lot of others put People to People. It's suggested you keep a list of places you visit in Cuba just in case they ask. I wouldn't worry about this too too much but just have an idea where you travel to.

Thanks for sharing! I'm visiting in February and I wanted to know how much money you think I should carry for a 7 day trip? Also your trip to Vinales looked beautiful! I found a "tour" through air bnb but its $45 per person. Is that too much? Please help!
@GirlwithDrive
@GirlwithDrive 6 лет назад
Hi Bria! Take at least $100 per day. You may not use it all every day but you will be glad you brought it (especially if you want to buy souvenirs). Did Airbnb say what the tour includes? Is it all day? What places will you go to? Will it include your taxi rides? You can easily find a tour guide there for $10-15 for the whole day per person. Now taxi's are pricey but the public transportation is so complicated. To break it down: Water will be about $4-5/day, transportation about $40, Food about $25 and then you'll have spending money for whatever you want to do. Like I went horseback riding for only $20 and it was about two hours.

I'm looking into Cuba. I was wondering how was customs on the way back to USA? Do they stamp your passport or visa? Do you tell the US border patrol that you just came from Cuba?
@GirlwithDrive
@GirlwithDrive 6 лет назад
HI! Customs was pretty easy coming back. They stamp your passport when you enter Cuba. Be careful what you bring back though, there are restrictions regarding certain cigars and alcohol. I flew back to Ft. Lauderdale which was very easy if you're a U.S. citizen. I've heard the wait was much longer if you go into Miami.

Hello Amber! I'm about visit Cuba via cruise ship; I understand you flew there. Were you on the Vinales excursion with any other people from a cruise? I would really like to do that but my itinerary doesn't mention the underground cave boat ride or horseback riding so I'm asking if that is something everyone can do together or if you went with a big group? Thank You

Hi! I went with four people from Havana to Viñales for a day. Our tour guide Jorge set it up for us.
@kenwilson8024
@kenwilson8024 6 лет назад
Oh okay thank you. I think I want to use a local guide then cause the cruise excursion prices are a ripoff.

Do you need a visa even if you're a us citizen?
@GirlwithDrive
@GirlwithDrive 6 лет назад
A citizen of the USA? Yes. A citizen of Cuba? I don't believe so. Your passport should suffice.

Hi, I live in California I’m a permanent resident not a citizen so I have a Mexican passport. I’m flying out of Tijuana, does everyone need to get a Visa to Cuba and if so can I get it at the airport in Tijuana Mexico?
@GirlwithDrive
@GirlwithDrive 6 лет назад
Hi! Yes everyone needs a visa to enter Cuba. I know you can get a tourist card (visa) in the Mexico City airport but I'm not sure about Tijuana. I would check with your airline and see if you can buy it online beforehand.
