I totally agree. Preventive and integrated primary health care are the answers to countries which are resource challenged. I hope there will be many more presentations on the specifics because we need more case studies which can provide examples of good practices. Could this be the reason Drumpf, a.k.a Trump, is not a fan of Cuba!? Because he doesn’t like the idea that such a comparatively small country could possibly outperform a so much bigger country!? Particularly somewhere that matters to anybody & everybody the world over - like health & healthcare!? Somewhere that can SHOW UP the system in the old U.S. of A.!?
Not a fan a trump (have to make that clear) but that's the exact point. There are more people in California than cuba. It's like paying for a family's health care is easier than paying for the neighborhood. I will give credit to Russia though, they accomplished it
This has been the entire us governments issue with Cuba. That’s why they have had suffocating sanctions on Cuba for 60 years. Trump placed even more sanctions on them.
With all due respect, you have no idea what you're talking about. I'm personally not a fan of Donald Trump, I believe he's not a good person, and quite frankly, I have no idea how he won the presidency, or how people still support him, but Cuba DOES NOT outperform U.S. healthcare. As a Cuban who lived in Cuba for the first 12 years of his life, healthcare isn't really good at all there. While healthcare staff is well trained, the conditions of hospitals isn't very good at all. Hospitals are run down, equipment doesn't work half the time, the buildings are unsanitized. Don't believe everything you see on the internet.
