This tip is gonna save me so much time tracking myself for hip hop and spoken word. The only thing I do different is this. I don't use the out locator. Works like a charm.
So many times I've cloned a track (mostly guitar tracks) just so I can continue recording and hear the beginning of the track at the same time. This helps a lot. Now I just need to remember that this function exists the next time I record. Thank you
Good to know. I usually set up a temporary second audio track, record the new part, then move the event over to the first track.... and so on.... then delete the second track when all the parts are done. Always useful to know alternatives though....
