Great video, and very informative, well explained. I've just done multiple vocal takes and I have 17 lanes but the lanes are empty and all the takes have the same number, can you help me please.
@Cubase Academy hi Gary, quick question sorry that's an old video but I can't find this on Steinberg forums or documentation : how did you manage to highlight the background of the selected track? I mean not the header of the track, but the entire line from header to the right side of the project window. I find it hard to see where things are with dark background and multiple thin tracks, that would help me a lot. Thanks in advance !
It‘s a little bit confusing that the order of lane and version seems to be different. While the piano track is v1 it is also lane 2 and the synth1 version of the track has become lane 1. Can you also change this later? 🤔
@@CubaseAcademy Thank you very much. You destroyed my depression! 🙏🙏🙏 But the options list is in a very hidden place. Let me ask some other problem that I am involved during past one month: Previously, when used to select a plugin in the "Insert" option, it was opened immediately up and it could be seen on the screen. But over the past month the plugin interface is not shown after selection, until I press the "e" button and it goes visible.
It's a config setting: Go to Edit -> Preferences In the left pane, click on "plug-Ins" (under the VST heading) Check (tick) the box for "Open Effect Editor After Loading It"
It's a 12 core Kaby-Lake (24 multithreaded) , overclocked to 4.3Mhz, 32 GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 3050. The recording and playback primary drive is a 2TB NVME. I built it, I think, last summer. It was an upgrade from my previous Xeon-based system.
