Good to see you out , baby steps you will get there you will be tracking again before you know it. Watch those rutting buck , i don't know if you have heard about the guy down here in the states that was gored by a buck he "THOUGHT" was dead . The cool thing is your up and about Cubbee ! hope this is the start to your return to the trails ! Ya that buck is in breeding mode, probably chasing does all night , the pawing at the ground is him leaving a scrape, notice how he rubs his knees of his back legs together, he pees on his tarsal glands and leaves his scent in the fresh earth for other deer to know it was him. Great to see you up !

Nice one Cubbee it's a wonder he didn't take off when he got the smell of the dog? My old German Shepherd dog who sadly died yesterday was excellent at finding deer you could tell when she scented one as she would lift her head and taste the air. Glad to see that you're up and about again if not fully fit and able. All the very best to you and Ck and Jethro ofcourse, you just got to have a dog or two in your life.
