The only reason I don't wanna do big cubes, is because of how bored the judges will get, and I don't wanna put them through that torture. (Unless your Kevin Hays)

2:14 - You're looking at your cube, she's looking at your cube. Pro-tip: for maximum performance, focus on your own. Don't worry about the other competitors, because in a competition like competitive-cubing, even a small fraction of a second counts, so even the split-second it takes for your eyes to flick there and back (never mind the time it takes the brain to process what you saw when you looked away) could mean the difference between a win and a loss.

I love the YJ big cubes, even though I am a big fan of Yuxin. They just feel slick in your hands, colours are great and just fun to play with compared to the Yuxin versions.

I just finished my comp with a 32 second average on 3x3 and on second round i would’ve got a sub 30 average but i plus 2ed my first two solves :(

Wrm 4x4 is my main. It's nice. But expensive. Very expensive. Get the little magic 4x4, smash the springs shorter(Justa little) . Then the magic 4x4 becomes way better.

I can solve the Aofu GTS a lot faster than I can solve a Hays/Spark. Little magic does come close to my Hays/Spark performance though.

Later in the year I will and I compete in all NxNxN events besides 7x7 because I'm getting a 7x7 for Christmas and I will compete in 6x6 and for those who don't compete in big cubes compete because after you learn them they may seem tedious at first but they soon become a fast and fun solve and when I do get my 7x7 I will use code: Tingman for 10% off☺

I like 4x4 but I'm really bad at 5x5 - there's too many pieces~ So I'm not that keen to try 7x7. I wonder how people can be good at solving all the WCA puzzles and still have a life..?

I mean... We can get those here in China for about 24.3 aud (for the yuxin) and 13.8 aud (for the YJ) (and not the cheapest prices yet) Nice to live in a massively industrialised nation lol (neglecting all the pollutions or wtever haha) Anyways tingman great content as always

Also I think you should practice big cubes more, it’s really fun. I main the hays 7 and prefer it the the Spark and moyu. And I average 5:30 and am improving at a decent rate.

The mindset or you having a rule on not properly setting up your puzzle is crooked. You should always maximize your puzzles to their fullest potential. I come from when there we're only shengshou and v-cubes and we had to sand ever flat edge to create speedcubes.
