Cucumber Beetles and Tondo di Manduria 

Despite all of the challenges associated with growing caroselli in an area that is packed with cucumber beetles, the Carosello Tondo Manduria have performed very well in the organic olive orchard in Suisun Valley, California. In the midst of discussing some ways I have been working to combat the beetles, I happen to mention what I am looking for in the fruit. Throughout the video, can you count the number of times I say the word “texture”? I think I mention it once or twice. Of all the attributes that the Tondo Manduria is prized for, it is definitely texture. This is a very long video.
