Do not go to Ingapirca in Cañar without watching this. It's a great day trip but here are essential tips on making it the best day, including where to eat and why you should care about this archeological site that shares both Cañari and Inca ruins.

Need an English speaking guide in Ecuador? I hired my friend Andres to tour the country, he's got an SUV and is a licensed national guide. The best way to reach him is on Whatapp: +593 98 711 9550 and second best by email at andrivet77 AT gmail.com.
I always stay at the CASA CUENCANA. It's affordable, Ecuadorian owned and so clean and comfortable.

Hi I'm Ayngelina and my full time job is my site BaconisMagic.ca it's all about the best food around the world and how to make it at home.
In 2010 I left a job in advertising, 5 year relationship and sold all my possessions to travel the world. In the last ten years I've had some crazy experiences and even owned a restaurant in Toronto at one time. And prior to 2020 I had been based in Cuba.
When the world shut down I returned to Canada and decided to teach myself video. I wanted to share more than just words and photos but to show people the adventures I have learning about food around the world.
I'm not married. I have no kids. But I do have a lot of local friends who help me discover the best local tips.

Throughly enjoyed the video of your Ingapirca Tour. It was fantastic! I loved your narration of the entire history of the Canari and Inca people as well as showing us the beautiful landscape.. The discourse of the local foods was appetizing too.

We enjoyed this video! Once again, we thank you for your thoughtfulness in making your videos multi-lingual friendly. Being able to read the subtitles in Spanish, is a huge help for our language dynamic. We realize it takes extra effort and time to upload a text file with your videos. Are you aware of any other RU-vidrs specific to Latin America who are putting in this attention to detail? If you keep putting together dazzling diverse videos like what we've seen in the past few months, your channel is going to get so busy, you may have to hire more than just an editor. You're really setting the bar much higher than it's been previously, and you're making the world a better place. We thank you!
@ayngelina
@ayngelina 2 года назад
Thank you for recognizing this. Tomorrow's video is 45 minutes and it took me over 2 hours to transcribe so I could translate properly. I don't know of other RU-vidrs that do this, although I have mentioned it to a few but they rely on auto captions. The problem is that for some reason RU-vid is terrible at the auto captions when Facebook is not? But also I have lots of friends who don't speak or understand English so I guess I'm more aware that I want to be more accessible. The translation and timing aren't perfect but they are better than if I didn't do this

@@ayngelina I recall you stating the 1st Q&A took you 3 hours to transcribe. At the moment, I also don't know of any other RU-vidrs doing this. Again, we feel this is one of several things you do which separate you from the crowd. I didn't receive an alert. Is tomorrow's video being premiered?

I like to get those big jugs of yogur there and carry them around with me in place of a water bottle. It's more like what people in the states call kefir than what's called yogurt. Wish I could remember the brand I preferred. The flavor I liked best was mora. Gut healthy. I never got sick from food there either and we got plenty of stuff from street vendors.

I've spent a lot of time researching (for a layman) whether there is a connection between ancient cultures and alien visitation. There is a lot of evidence that either ancient cultures were more technologically advanced than mainstream science gives them credit, or they had help from someone unknown. While I feel that help from races from outside our planet is one possibility, I also believe there are other possibilities that have yet to be discovered. What I do believe is not debatable, is that main stream science/archaeology does not have an adequate explanation for many things discovered about ancient cultures.

@ayngelina

Yes different Indigenous groups in Ecuador wear different traditional dress. As an outside it may seem all the same but an easy tell is the style of hat. Cañaris have a bowler style hat. Also in a couple weeks I have a video that shares where to get bread made in a wood fired oven in Cuenca.
