The Global Business and Management Field Study, a required course in the CUHK EMBA program, provides an opportunity for participants to visit places outside Hong Kong and gain exposure to different national environments and business operations. Previous EMBA graduates have carried out their field studies in major cities in China, Singapore, USA, UK, Korea, Japan, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany. This year, the graduating class visited Sweden between 8 and 12 June, 2015.
During the study trip in Sweden, the participants visited ten companies: AstraZeneca, Hasselblad, University of Gothenburg, Volvo Cars, ABB, King Digital Entertainment, Ericsson, Electrolux, SAS and Veryday.
