Just got a used one last week in like new condition for $70 with a new, full propane tank. Have only used it twice but already can tell its going to be fun cooking on it.
I love mine. My one complaint about it is the lid. It has a hook to hang on the drip edge. I find that the lid interferes with the cooking surface. I think most people are like me and place the lid on the ground so that it is out of the way.
I just got this Griddle. Haven't tried cooking on it yet. after assembling it. I noticed there is no Temperature Gauge indicator on the Lid as with normal Gas Grill lids for cooking/grilling with lid on. Question, when Cooking. Is there a issue with Fire/Flaming-up while cooking? As grease fires?
With a flat top grill a temperature gauge in the lid won't tell you much about the cooking temperature. As for flare-ups that would be virtually impossible.
