I have this juicer, and it still rates in the top five for centrifugal juicers. One thing, for oranges, you need good fresh oranges with a thinner skin, and firm to the touch. Also, I use the bags you use to put your veggies in at the supermarket in the collection basket, and it saves some clean up. Also, before I remove the lid I clean the pulp off and out of it with my fingers and it goes directly into the pulp receptacle, and makes cleaning up the lid so much easier. I also let the parts soak in the soapy dishwasher while I wipe up the main body of the juicer and dispose of the pulp.
I bought this juicer last week and so far I've been pretty happy with it. It does leave some juice in the fruit and the leftover pulp is pretty wet. Also, ginger seems to get wasted when you juice it. the juicer seems to discard some of the produce before it is ready which leads to some waste. It is quiet, easy to clean (although takes a long time) and looks stylish. It's my first juicer and would recommend if you are just getting into juicing.
For me it was quite surprise how quick the process are compare to other slow juicer and now I can clearly see that i expect there are lot of juice in the pulp .
You really should mention that the type of orange can change the amount of juice. Naval oranges are naturally juicer than valencia oranges which would change the output ratio. Also the age, freshness and size will also have an impact.
Hi, thank you for the in depth review of this Juicer! Could you please tell me if you have tested or know of a juicer that does a little better job at getting the juice out of fruits and veggies? Thanks, Tony
I have this juicer it cost the same as the breville one with the chrome handle. I stopped using this because the ginger left so much juice. I don't see why the reviews on the Cuisinart is better than the breville one. I feel like maybe a solution is to put a nut bag in there I think the breville one leaves less pulp
Just found your channel and its so awesome love the reviews you put out surprised ya dont get more views maybe do some comparisons or recipes to draw more people to the channel keep up the great work
i dont make complain on the use of this product with oranges, seems to me that the oranges juicer is better for that ,unless you process all the fruit w/skin,but Cuisinart juice extractor is so good for the most of the fruits...
Hi Maria, here is a playlist of my juicer reviews: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f11lWuRxL-U.html The Breville JE98XL and BJE200 are both good choices for centrifugal juicers. The Omega J8006 is a good choice for a masticating juicer. Hope that helps :)
Anita, thanks for reviewing the Oster Versa blender I really appreciate that review... I just bought my Oster Versa!!!😃😍❤️ By the way, nice review of that juicer...😄
i keep trying to find how out to remove the mesh blade , mine seeems stuck, it looked like you already removed it off camera, and easily pop on and off , if there is a trick I would love to know
Hi, you can - but I would go with something more powerful. Please watch my reviews of the Omega juicers as they maybe more suitable for your needs. Here is the playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f11lWuRxL-U.html
Does anyone know what dial is best for what fruit/vegetable? My sister misplaced the guide. I also noticed that I was still able to exact juice from the pulp when I did carrots and apples on dial 2.
This is the worst juicer xtract.. already try this and is not good for leaves and it waste a lot and make less juice so don’t waist your money on this, and buy one slow masticating juicer which is much better than this.
