This is a nice demo video. Thanks for using all of the attachments, and for the tips about not applying too much pressure. Let the product do the work. :)
I have this 8 cup and the biggest problem with it is the center post doesn't come off like most food processors. You can't properly clean it if it is attached to the motor base. The 11 or larger cup is better because the post comes off.
Thank you, thank you, I have not used my slicing disc since I got my food processor for Christmas, last year. I didn't realize the disc sits about 1/2 inch from the top of the bowl opposed to the bottom. I also, didn't realize you have to push the food through the shredding dish, for some reason I recall my mother's food processor shredding her vegetables to the bottom without having to push it through the disc. Great video and camera angle, thank you
Sarah H That must be frustrating sometimes. Is this a new feature? Mine has to have both the bowl and the lid clamped firmly into place, but not the cup that slides into the chute.
The Cuisinart Elemental 13 has both a spiralizer and dicing attachment available. It works just as well as this 8 cup. It's a little more of an investment, but I feel it is worth it. It could even be a good compliment to the 8 cup Cuisinart in this video.
