Episode 3
This episode vividly captures the moment when university student Joseph Anthony Manche saw British soldiers aim and open fire against the angry Maltese crowds gathered in Old Bakery Street (Strada Forni). It then moves to describe the scenes and the mood on the streets of Valletta on 7th and 8th June 1919 with the number of victims increasing as the hours went by. But weren't the victims supposed to be all Maltese ?
