Karnataka and Kannadigas were pioneers of culinary skills and art in earlier ages also Manasollasa the great epic written during the reign of the great Kannada Emperor Chalukya Someshwara III contains major chapters devoted to most culinary preparations in use today in Karnataka and these were sunsequetly abrogated by Maharastra Andhra Tamilnadu peoples. Vaddaradhane ,another book written during Kannada Hoysala empire time has very earliest mentioned of idly dose vade shavige sandige Holige etc Soopa shastra another karnataka origin early cook book contains descriptions of what is called soup today Karnataka and KannDugas had specialized books devoted only to culinary arts at least two centuries before the first exclusive culinary book came up in France Europe The karnataka origin Vijaynagara empire encompassed andhra Tamil nadu and most of the common food items were taken from karnataka to those areas Even today Udipi Mangalore Mysuru Bengaluru Tumkur Bidadi Davangere Hubli Dharwad Belgaum are great innovators and originators of delicious food items popular all over India
Being I Bangalorian, I must say this interpretation of the recipe is true to its authenticity. A very aesthetic presentation and good style of videography ma'am.
Thank you so much for the recipe Hema, I am from Bangalore love the Khara bath from Bramin's cafe, now living London craving for Bangalore food today tried this recipe it was just mind-blowing exactly same taste as Bramin's cafe😘 love you for recreating the same taste😊

Hi Hema, I am not a big fan of kharabath though I live in bangalore but after seeing this video wanted to try it out. You know what I loved it totally. Thanks for sharing it.
So well explained. Crisp, well-presented video. I've been longing for some good Bangalore chow-chow bath which I can't get here in Vancouver. So I'm going to try this at home. Thank you for sharing. The hunt for vangi bath masala begins.
Hi mam on ur next visit to Bangalore pls inform us so that ur subscribers like us can meet u🙏. For chutney in Bangalore we add little tamarind garlic and small piece of ginger also it enhances the taste
Lovely recipe.. khara bath is one of my favourites.. I'm also from Bangalore and I love their chutney.. and masala dosa.. yumm.. will try this recipe for sure.. thanks.. 😊👍
I have been all along thinking that Khara bath has a special kind of powder made which is added // Surprised to note that just Vangi bath powder or Sambar powder is good enough // However it needs to be ratified with another Cafe in Bengaluru wrt the powder used //
Its aweesome i love khara bhath any time😁🙂 Cool not bad ma'am were you in branhmin s coffee bar...i wish i could meet you🙂 Nice to see your visit to Namma Bengaluru🙂
