I like feast more since fast kinda halts your fertilizer production in the early game

True, because if your followers don't eat, they won't shit either lol. So no fertilizer for crops.

I prefer fast because once you unlock reduced cooldowns on rituals in the Devine inspiration tree, you are able to prevent your cult from eating altogether. You can then choose to feed them the berry bowl with 75% chance to poop instantly and voila, it's the perfect combination.

See, I’m the opposite. Fast is better for me because I don’t have to worry about cleaning up poop while working on unlocking and building outhouses.

I personally have never thought about using ritual fast over feasting ritual but it’s probably a lot more useful especially paired with the brainwashing ritual if enacted before ritual fast

The combo I had going was to feast and get everyone in fed. Then make a round of meals before you head out. That kept things stable for 3-4 days till I had to come back to fix it again More expensive to pull off, that's a given but that's just how I pulled it off

well, both seem fairly balanced to me. Really depends on play style also who knows a DLC could come out and make ever one better.

I am not sure but i think if you have "The Hunger" ability feasting gives you a few blue hearts

why exactly is sustenance the first category you should pick? i don't really see it

I think food can be a chokehold early on especially when trying to progress quickly and Sustenance can be a way to mitigate that :)

I believe in tier 2 of sustenance, you get to pick the "Grass eater" trait, which is extremely helpful.

The faster you can get grass eater the better because you get lots of grass so lots of yums

The rez built is soo good. My cult is eternal and our faith is maxed always.

fun fact: you actuly can cut cooldown on half and if you gonna get into cult ewry 2.5-3 days you lytelary don't need to feed them(but you need a lot of bones) + you ewen can drop cost 75-> 37 bones, when you get actess to level 3 cult you can do both things(-50% of culldown time and rituals costs), so yeah, i'm more perfer ritual fast

fasting is better for late game because I'm too lazy to feed anyone and 50% ritual cooldown time unlocked through devotion makes it so that you can fast forever. Also in late game you can get faith pretty easily by inspiring 4-5 followers to make up for loss of faith or performing a brainwashing ritual. (Even in early game you can perform fasting and bonfire rituals back to back.
