Happy to see Bijuu finally play this game Also you should look at food description before cooking it, 49:37 you made a dish that had a 75% chance of killing whoever ate it
Useful advice for everything basically! When any monster attacks with a fireball, you can phase through it with a dodge roll. (If timed right so you don't dodge into the fireball) Always collect/break Helob's stuff around the area(The spider who sells followers) cause they will give you Follower Meat, Regular Meat and Bone. Never feed them the Deadly Dish ever again. (75% chance of the follower dying when eaten) Finally, Always kill the birds & squirrels around the Darkwood forest, they drop either Morsel or Meat which can be used to make meals
Here's some tips: Kill the critters in each area. You can get food for your followers and even items! 2. Make food before you leave your cult, so they don't starve. 3. Go at your own pace, it's a game not a final assignment. And, maybe name it Cult of the Bean
Alternatively for 2, there are also some helpful accessibility options! If you're not a fan of time passing on crusades, there is a setting to pause time on crusades, which can make managing the cult a little easier, along with it are also options for auto cooking, fishing, crafting, etc.
"You need to provide food for them" "Aww why do I have to do it for them?" Well, prior to the first DLC, it's a question everyone had in mind, and source of pretty funny memes.
Some useful advice for the early game is that you should break absolutely everything the dummys at the start of a crusade will drop wood when destroyed they might take a while to break and the statues of the bishops like leshy will not only allow you to steal devotion but will also drop stone the first time you break it and most importantly of all just have fun take your time
also once you kill a bishop and go back to the area where the bishop once was, if you destroy the statue of that bishop (like leshy) you can travel back to their boss arena and kill them yet again, you cant get their heart again this way, but you can get a lot of gold and stuff, i think this was just done so that if you got damaged during a bishop's fight you didnt have to restart a save file just for some achievement
Been a long whole since I've seen Cow and Chicken, I still think of the Molting episode every so often. A reminder that you shouldn't count your eggs before they hatch, or spend tomorrow's money before its earned
i love your content keep up the good work i like your laugh and you make all of your fans day even better every single day and i have a cute but also dark channel name for you just a fun idea instead of bijuu mike it's gunna be bijuu cult let me know if you like that cute and dark name i really hope you do like it arigatou you are the best youtuber
always love seeing peoples' first impressions of this game. It's been one of my all-time favorite games since I started playing it and the devs have been doing amazing keeping the game running smoothly and constantly adding new content.
Allow me to tell the tale of my most legendary follower. Her name is Addaline, and she joined as an elder thanks to Valefar. Since she has joined, she has witnessed the massive growth of the cult, the deaths of two bishops, and over 20 follower deaths all from old age. She is part of my inner circle and she is about 143 years old and still kicking. She has no skull necklace either. Moral of the story, followers are indeed easy to get attached to and it pays to take good care of them. I hope you enjoy this game Mike!
Cool tip: Kill spiders during night phases at your Cult HQ. There's a chance that they'll drop a skull. Putting this skull into a empty body pit will unlock a new follower named Webber (after a spider character from the Don't Starve franchise). Once Webber is obtained, you also unlock Don't Starve decorations and a new mode called "Penitence mode." This mode has to be activated in a new save file and is suggested to be played *after you beat the story once* as it is more challenging. The mode give you mechanics of Don't Starve: Hunger and Sleep. You'll have to make food and a bed for yourself and not just your followers.
Mike please make more of this, I was watching DanTDM play it but he stopped after a few episodes, and I was heartbroken. Please continue on with this game.
Hey Bijuu! I’m a big cult of the lamb fan. An early game tip that the game doesn’t tell you directly is that you can roll through projectiles safely. Dodging gives invulnerability frames and is even necessary in late game.
Eventually you have the ability to build outhouses and a janitor station, it is quite a bit later in game so it gonna be scooping poop for a while bijuu
Been playing this game myself for a while actually, glad to see you giving it a go Bijuu! It's basically "when Animal Crossing meets Binding of Isaac", or so I've been told
as a matter of fact, I used to love cow and chicken. charlie Adler (the voice of Cow, Chicken, and The Red Guy)is pretty iconic! So I totally got that reference XD
Hey there! I just wanted to drop by and say how awesome your content is! You are doing an incredible job, and I am so grateful for all the effort and creativity you put into it. Your work has truly made a difference in my life, and I look forward to seeing more of it in the future. Keep up the fantastic work, and thanks for being such an inspiration!
By the way Mike, it’s very difficult to accidentally make a follower dissent and leave the cult. You would basically have to do nothing. Also I think “Salad Eaters” is a good name for your cult :)
I’d like to see him play more of this but I feel like he should’ve played this earlier Tip: to unlock the new sins of the flesh update , you need to atleast kill 3 bishops Tip 2: you can dodge roll under fire balls to avoid them Tip 3: so your followers don’t do nothing crazy while you’re gone there’s a setting to pause time on crusades
The cult should be named "Cult of The Scrubs" or "Cult of The Bigee's" Also, been watching your videos for years! I love everything you do, keep it up!
this game is a nice turn, because the past games were really hard games; to make you rage. this isnt really that material, but it lets the nerves down because of the sheer amount of cool background design and animations, and the music. great job on picking this game!
Mike since you're finally playing cult of the lamb you should check out the animation "Cult of the Lamb: Doom & Shroom" by Mashed Its really entertaining and funny
im so glad you played this! all of my favourite ytbers have layed it except you, and i absolutely love the game and how you play games so this was an amazing combination of both! great job!!
