Cult of the Lamb is an indie game where you are an evil lamb who runs a cult, and yes, everything in this game is designed to be disturbing.

For some context: Cult of the Lamb is a game where you play the titular Lamb, the last of their kind who has been designated to be sacrificed by the heads of the dominant religious cult of... wherever the game is supposed to take place. When you are about to die, you are instead brought back by a Totally Cool and Not At All Evil Entity to serve them, build a cult in their name and get vengeance on those that tried to kill you. The game consists of two primary gameplay modes: the first is a base management sim where you recruit cultists, build structures, generate worship, and maintain your cult's needs (including cooking their meals and cleaning their poop). The second mode is an action roguelike game where you venture out to kill enemies, collect resources, and (ultimately) get your revenge. The game overall has a very darkly humorous tone, with the characters largely consisting of cute animal people doing horrible things to one another. It's a similar situation to a game like Binding of Isaac, where if the game were more realistic it would be far too horrifying to depict, but thanks to the cute and cartoony style it gets away with a lot more than it otherwise might. I recommend it, even if I rage quit the game after one too many softlocks.

"Ancordeep" and "The One who Waits" are also amazing Titles form that OST that really show how special that OST feels in general.

Short form, the lamb is about to be sacrificed at the start and an imprisoned Ancient One saves them. It then tasks the lamb to recreate its cult, kill the Four Bishops and free it from imprisonment. The Silk Cradle is one zone you go through on the way to a Bishop, and this song is the background music. That's why it sounds like it's designed to loop. It's supposed to be a touch unnerving as well, which you picked up on. Fantastic game, fantastic soundtrack.

The track plays over Silk Cradle, the designated "Spider Level", a dark and desolate place covered in webbing, bones, grey grass, and infested with various creepy-crawly insect/arachnid enemies. It's meant to be spooky, some intensity so you can kinda throw down to it, but also it could back some fast-paced exploration. The game uses a spooky-cute style, leaning harder into either spooky or cute as it sees fit/as is needed to tell its story. The wacky, weird synths give me the vibe of countless bugs crawling all over, like a bunch of spiders scattering about, which works for the area

The whole OST is a banger! As well as the game itself. Alot of fun with Twitch chat

Now id love to see him listen to darkwood. (Any most of the other good songs)

Definitely check out all the other Cult of the Lamb requests. My own personal recommendation would be Anura. Also the game is totally worth playing, doesn't require a massive time commitment.

Songs of this game are built to be looped over and over. They're great, but really, they're mostly too short to straight up ask a reaction for. Main theme could do it tho, but there are a lot of short, looping bangers in there. Highly recommend darkwoods for anyone interested
