I remember this seeming like an adaptation of the genestealer cults, which makes sense as the genestealer were an adaptation of the Alien xeno's to begin with...

Yesss this series has been awesome, what a build up towards the Earth infestation. Xenomorph cults have always interested me. I'm keen to read about the faction that finally managed to weaponise the Xenomorph in the newest AVP books

This was the most chilling of the Earth War saga for me, especially Pindar's fate - the absolute callousness with which they dispose of him. Or at least, what was left of him...

Had to rewatch. So much effort and thought put into these video edits. The time you put into these is well worth spent because the videos always come out so amazing.

This idea reminded me of genestealer cults from warhammer 40k. And interesting enough Accounts of Earth War was published one year after genestealer cults were first introduced to Warhammer 40k.

Your Videos Are Soooo Good! You Should write an Alien Movie!

This story got me thinking.... On the face of it, it seems absurd that a cult could form with the purpose of becoming host to chest bursters. You would have to believe that a lot of people are "that weird", and it panders to the stereotype of "weird cultists" exaggerated in the popular culture. Don't get me wrong, I know from first hand experience that cults are weird, but I would need to see all the "slow boil", subtle payoffs with the cultural hooks that could create a cult like this for me to believe it. But not so fast...... In nature there are parasites, and fungi that can take control of organisms personality. The Cordyceps mushroom, makes ants do odd behavior which serves the reproduction of the fungus. there is also a parasite that humans can get from cat feces that turn them into a cat hoarder. There is also a parasite living in birds, but falls out through the droppings... but then ... infect mice on the ground, making the mice suicidal, inducing them to become bird food. Birds eat the mice and the parasite has come home. I wonder if this could be part of the story, explaining how people hear the call in their dreams, also making them unnaturally attracted to the Xenomorph reproductive cycle.

I don’t get it: how could the doctor not foresee how catastrophic it’d be to bring the xenomorphs back to Earth? You’d think someone supposedly as intelligent him could extrapolate worst case scenarios...

I know it's a comic book but... No human could escape the minimum safe distance of a point-5 megaton detonation in 90 seconds. Especially not while dragging another body.

Change we can all believe in.... Why does the comic character look like Anton LaVey before shaving his head...

The members of the cult were obviously insane but I can understand their fanaticism to an extent, with how amazing a species like the xenomorphs would be.

Back in the day, when I read this comic I thought of this part as a bit unrealistic. As an adult, now that I know the damage religious cults can do, it's even more horrifying

I love the story. Twelve alien queens would be a problem, but an organized military force, heavily armed could wipe them out. Bomb the nests and stuff =) Then again, today's military is huge, the future the human forces would be more limited from what we've seen of the human struggle in the future in Prometheus. That could be a bigger problem than I thought.

Plz make them like an hour long or so... I love these as my bed time stories... I put my headphones 🎧 and listen to the whole thing, but I want them long, so I can fall asleep and then continue in the morning ☹️ phulezzzz!!! 😪

Is the egg basically immortal? To my understanding, the egg can survive indefinitely until a host is within range? What is a xenomorphs natural life span?

Not to be picky but I would bet that Salvaje must be pronounced with enphasis on the second A... "Salvaje" means "wild" or "savage" in spanish...if you say someone is a "salvaje" means he is like a brute, a caveman, someone primal or uninteligent. Wich I think is quite fitting here.
