North Carolina herbalist and gardener Joe Hollis has spent his lifetime cultivating a “paradise garden,” which demonstrates his philosophy of living in communion with the earth in a way that’s beneficial to the land, local community and his own health and well-being. Hollis believes healing our disconnection from nature is the first step in addressing major global issues like climate change.

Great quote "Instead of bonding with the monetary system, bonding with the earth."

And instead of depending on the monetary system, (learn how to) depend on the earth. There's so much to learn and to unlearn.

You seem like a kindred spirit-- plants, nature, and good spirits. I want to turn my 10 acres in central california into a wildlife/pollinator paradise. All my love!

Joe Hollis has inspired me in too many ways to list, but my dream is to create a similar heaven on earth here, on my one acre. Many of the seeds I've planted came indirectly from Mountain Gardens, via Richters Herbs. Stumbled upon this video by accident, happily! Love watching and learning from this wonderful person.

@@froglet16 I've been buying pollinator plant seeds like a true lunatic for the past year-- I'd be happy to share if you can give me a place to ship to-- my seeds and my postage are free. Nature is everything!

@@kevinmccoy3653 Not sure if my response reached you, I don't see it. Thank you, and I would love seeds! Is there a private way I can give you my address? I'm on the Y site p b o g l i n, starts with a why and ends with two oh's.

@@froglet16 Hello again-- I tried to post my email address but it never came through. I really do want to send you some seeds, but I simply don't know how to give you any info here. Any ideas? I have more seeds than I can use in 10 lifetimes, and I keep buying more.

Imagine if more people lived this way. The Earth would be a much better place, despite climate change.❤🌎
