Hi Suzanne ! You’re absolutely right we all need to cultivate quiet time for ourselves.My favorite time of the day is the morning .I like drinking my coffee and spending my quiet time with Jesus! From my kitchen I can see the sunrise and I find it so beautiful because it’s like God took a paintbrush and just started painting the sky with all these different colors .The pinks and orange colors are so amazing too me.A new day! A new beginning ! I watch Joyce Meyers while I’m getting ready to work once I’m done I’m off to work .🙏❤️🌻🇺🇸🌸

I need to try quiet time in the morning! I bet it would help me start out my day in a better frame of mind!!!!! I love. Love. Love your story about sitting in the kitchen and Jesus painting the sky .... awwwww .... I am smiling just thinking about that!!!!!!!!!!! I also like to listen to Joyce Myers. Well, this was my quiet time, Suzanne. Your soft voice and your recommendations over a cup of coffee is perfect today. I also like to take a nice, quiet walk where I listen to nature and thank God for all he has given me. It’s a perfect place to release all the stresses of life. Thank you for this. It is a perfect way to start my day.

Me too Nancy. One of my goals for 2020 is to cultivate more quiet time. It just keeps me settled and calm. It makes all the difference in the world to me. I think all women deserve some quality quiet time!!! Be sure you remind yourself to cultivate some quiet time regularly. You deserve it. ❤️🥰❤️Suzanne

For 3 or 4 years I have done SCRIPTURE WRITING, but lately I have not and I miss it. This was just a little Nudge that I needed. I read my Bible along with some favorite "devotional guides"...even some very vintage books that were my daddy's BUT I seem to hear more when I write!!!! Thank you and God Bless you and yours💖👵🦋

What is it about scripture writing that is soooo special ... calming ... spiritual!!!! I can write them down and get so much more from the scriptures... more than just reading them. I would love to see some of your Daddy’s vintage books ... I bet you have some good ones!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed this so much! I have been retired from teaching for three years and finally have time to truly enjoy my quiet. II like your word choice - cultivate- for it is something that requires our effort, our concentration, and our belief that we deserve and need time to contemplate!

I love the picture that you drew in your bible Suzanne....it's beautiful ❤ my favorite verses to read are 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice Evermore Pray without ceasing in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. This has brought me through many times of worry and or stress. Enjoy all the quite time you can friend...but I did miss Daisy!! LOL
