This is truly the most mesmerizing performance of Boy George at his absolute peak! People say it is the makeup, the clothes, the dreadlocks or whatever but no, it was the way he moves instinctively and evokes mystery through those piercing looks that makes you glued to this video and not miss a moment when he stares into the camera! David Bowie (huge fan too:) opened the door for androgynous sexiness but Boy George perfected it in the 80’s! It’s theater, performance art, fashion and music all bundled into one irresistible package!

Boy George is a beautiful artist. His stunning looks are only a bonus to his unbelievable voice and talent. I feel very fortunate to have watched and enjoyed him over his entire career. He has given himself to us generously. A true legend.

Man I was in love with him back in the days I saw him in concert the best music ever .till now I listen to him after 35 years still love him and his music .

It was a combination of everything. He had a charisma that it was all his. It was an unbelievable decade. For music style. It was wonderful.

Boy had a colorful personality that garnered the band more media attention than other bands at the time such as Duran Duran. Boy knew how to deal with the media and press and knew exactly what to say to grab attention. But this wouldn't mean anything without their musical craftsmanship, which remains awesome to this day.

Boy George's Smokey Robinson influence really shines here, a beautiful timeless song and vocal performance.

All these years later makes you appreciate the bands of yesteryear. C.C. sooooo underrated as a band. Each of the components worked so well as a whole. The awesome bass, drums, guitar and Boy's soulful vocals. Another common thread that runs thru most Brit bands was their appreciation of R&B bc their music showed the effects. Fav C.C. song for sure ❤️❤️❤️

This was my absolute FAVORITE group back in the day. I still listen to their 🎶. Some of my classmates were fans as well and we use to wear the Culture Club buttons on our clothes, that was popular back then.

Boy George was the one who taught me it was ok to be different from the other kids I went to school with, my parent's didn't have time they were always working. my this was the early 90s and everyone was all preppy and I wasn't there at all.
