Boy reminds me of so many of the kids we knew back in the day, talented, creative, free-spirits, who knew how to have a good time. However, once their addictions kicked-in, they were so lost. I hope a lot of them found their way out.
I heard this song first time in '82, then I was 11 and I fell in love with this song and Boy George too. Now I'm 36 and this song is my grand daughter favorite and still mine. I love it !!!

I grew up in the 70's so that music will always touch me the most. But the 80's did have some good stuff. I'm a R&B/Soul guy but I must admit that Culture Club had some nice stuff working. I could care less about Boy George's sexual orientation, the guy could sing! Nice voice and the band was tight. This my fav CC jam. While alot of crazy weird stuff hit in the 80's, this was one of the best bands I will always remember from that time.

My goodness, can't stop hearing this mix! My fav song of all time..not just from culture club, but including other songs i like. Wish there are more music like this. Nobody does this kind of music anymore?. The mixing of the song version and instrumental is beautiful, and blends in perfectly. Very smart!

Yes, it is Hot Tracks. I have it on my EDGE series of CD's. That was the best series. I only got 3 series. I think there were others, but not sure...the 4th Cd did not look too appealing so I passed on it. The first 3 were excellent. My friends all want to borrow those CD's. The versions are so good, because they did not kill the original.

I was a HUGE fanlture of Culture Club back in H.S. I absolutely loved Boy George. This song, like all of theirs, is simply excellent! Every beat, every chord, every note, just awesome. And, the violins, oh man, just beautiful! I miss the 80's.

say what you want - good or bad- the Boy could flat out sing! Saw him on Carson one night where he sang while sitting in the chair and the place went bonkers! So sad he wasted his "time" on heroin...+ a love lost (the drummer) he could never have. I would have loved to hear more from CC.....they were actually pretty damn good.....
