1. Food. My son was the first to complain about this. We nearly jumped back on the plane just for the food! I am forced to cook again, which leaves us both less than gleeful. I will always miss this part.
2. Easy to Travel. Not only was it close to many other countries, but there was also an affordability that can’t be beat. Especially if you’re from anywhere in the Americas, our distance to every other continent is much too vast to appreciate cost for travel.
3. Utility bills were calculated differently. This left the prices for our homes to remain the same every month and remain affordable.
4. Medical Easability
Pharmacy regulations. We could find nearly everything very easily compared the hours (or days) I spend at the pharmacy in the states.
Doctors deliverable made our lives much much much easier!
5. Social Etiquette is on a different level in Bali. People are nice to children and see them as humans that will be functional members of society, therefore value the way we treat and see them.
6. Customer Service is top-notch in Bali. It’s a tourist destination however, the fact is I have seen it better here than other tourist destinations I have been to throughout the States.
7. Scooters! In Bail it was easier and much nicer.
8. Cost of transportation. Not everything in Bai was cheap.
9. Low crime rates. I feel more of a fear-based culture in the USA versus where we traveled across Asia and Oceania.
10. I’m only slightly joking when I say grab a free animal while in Bali! They’re free and need a home.
